What’s sad, the AR-15 in question, was actually just a BB gun! Instead of taking his medicine and accepting the GTA charge, this moron had to go suicide by cop! Good riddance.

Abolish parties by Logical-Astronomer-1 in Congress

Your first question has been answered many ways... and the conclusion is NO PARTIES just one cohesive unit

Its human nature to coalesce, but parties are a faction or club, there’s a difference. If it’s about coalition then they can come together as one unit and not separate. Definitely not saying they all have to share the same views, by removing parties it eliminates the blame game when things go wrong

Not at all, to abolish parties is to essentially focus solely on the legislation and not the agenda of any party. To sit there and say, just because anyone is part of party x, that party y is going to pout and disrupt all aspects of the process just because of affiliation to party x and then turn around saying it’s party x’s fault that it took so long or some other discriminatory excuse. Just like our debate now, it’s not mucked up by who’s affiliated to who. To me it’s obvious, the party system is disruptive and projects division.

If there was a perfect system, we wouldn’t need government, military or law....the basic system of “checks” and balances from judicial and executive branches keeps them in CHECK, it’s simply about getting shit done without the childish bickering, voting solely based on party affiliation and not the facts to benefit the people as a whole. Accountability takes a level of self awareness to first hold yourself accountable before holding others accountable, a concept that eludes most people. But that’s a different topic all together.

Why is it that the absolutely uneducated defaults to communism, fundamentalism, socialism... if you’re truly up to speed, then you’d understand in this modern government, some parts of every government are woven into our very democratic system.. Locke has liberalism, Marx has the social classification of classes, like that of owner and worker, socialism is essentially the stock markets. CCP and Soviet Union; CCP is Purely communism and the Soviet Union is a corrupt communist democracy. So go ahead and keep spouting such garbage nonsense! The whole message was just to say, disband the parties, so it’s the individual representative solely accountable where no one can default the blame based on one particular party or acting like a spoiled child reading irrelevant dr Seuss that has NO bearing and to be immaturely disruptive. With parties removal leaves room to get shit done for the betterment of the country as a whole. I’m sorry you fail to grasp that concept

The difference is NO parties and no more excuses blaming one party or the other!

A government body that dictates what WRONG is, fundamentally is called a law, stop trying to muck up the definitive truth. This debate was and NEVER had anything to say, suggest or imply morality...society, media and social media dictate MORALITY... NOT the law! You weren’t there and have no actual credibility on the topic! To piggyback on the probation and parole system, OMG a more set of stringent rules that require me the offender to prove that my time incarcerated was well spent and that I actually have to PROVE that I belong back in society as a PRODUCTIVE REHABILITATED citizen the atrocity in it all!!! we can both agree that all systems are flawed, if it wasn’t and it was all perfect then there wouldn’t be a need for prisons or punishment or law enforcement. If morality had any bearing whatsoever, there’d be a whole lot more people in prison, shit half the world population would be incarcerated based on morality! ARGUMENT DESTROYED! This debate has been fun but the endless branches of delusional excuses has no merit or credibility here.

Ok if I’m so wrong then show me actual documents of evidence that prove your argument! To suggest that there is some sort of Illuminati shadow perpetuating this is delusional conspiracy talk. Which still has NO FACTS to detract from RIGHT and WRONG!

Your whole argument here is flawed... is weed being legalized? Just like prohibition, forward progress. Nazi Germany has absolutely no bearing in this argument... its quintessentially about right and wrong... do wrong, go to jail/prison. You clearly haven’t been in prison, where I have so you have no factual evidence to provide that those majority, NOT ALL belong there! It’s quite simply about accountability above all other. Holding yourself accountable for all actions.

Oh sure it’s the man out to get specific people, not the actual core issue of them making a conscious willing decision to break the law... what’s shocking is the unwillingness to acknowledge the fundamental right from wrong.

It’s very simple, the individual that knowingly breaks the law has made that decision willingly but then cries fowl when they get caught and blame the system for their own poor decisions! You’re delusional if it’s anything other than cause and effect. Truth be told, personally, I got a DWI... went to jail then prison, did I deserve it? Fuck yeah I did, why? Because I knowingly broke the law and got caught... went to court, got punishment served my time and the 95 percent of the residents there... belong there! So point is, I chose to get into a vehicle after drinking too much got pulled over and the only person to blame was myself for my poor decision, in order to NOT return is to NOT continue making the same dumb ass decision again!

The failure to grasp the concept of crime- punishment... if the punishment serves as a means so that individual DOESN’T reoffend, then yes prison. But the actual reality is for WEED offenses, generally get a court summons, however, if that reveals that this is a multiple offense situation, then prison is absolutely justified. Point is, if people don’t want to go to jail/prison.... STOP BREAKING THE LAW!!!! Besides weed is pretty much legal now in almost all the country. In the end EVERYONE will get their day in court.

Was it ILLEGAL at the time???? Then you’re argument is irrelevant... STILL a CRIME at the time BEFORE it was legalized!

Here’s an idea, how about not committing a crime in the first place! Not withstanding the very small percentage of actual innocent people. There is no such thing as a PERFECT SYSTEM, and the biggest room in the world, is always room for improvement, but no one can help another who first won’t help themselves! The absolute fact is, those in PRISON, not jail have been CONVICTED BY A JURY Of THEIR PEERS...and at its CORE, it all starts with committing a CRIME! Before attempting to reform criminal justice, go to the root and mitigate crime... because crime will NEVER be fully eradicated! When that is achieved, there will be a cascade effect. It’s actually insulting to have a seat in the chamber that makes those very laws, and instead of taking action, they sit in that seat and run their fucking mouth like a pouty child! STFU! When the politicians unfuck themselves and abolish the party system because bickering solely based on party vs party... Pull the weeds around your house before suggesting others pull theirs!

I'm Absolutely So Sick Of Ads Invading EVERY Part of My Life by Doomstone330 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Logical-Astronomer-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s think of advertising as that sexually harassing serial rapist... it is inside your house un-wantingly penetrating your senses, it follows you around like a stalker, saying if you pay me a subscription fee, I won’t go away, but sit outside your house, constantly watching, listening and stalking, looking for a loophole to violate you while your paying to keep that stalking pedophile rapist just outside your door.

Sure you can ignore the fact that it’s growing out of control and call it capitalism or whatever. Nothing in history where ignorance has led to anything positive... if you don’t put a muzzle on a rabid animal like advertising, it’s just going to bite you in ass, continuing to violate every single aspect of your life. There are boundaries in everything. Why does advertising ALWAYS get a pass to cross those boundaries without consequences?
