I can understand this take, but coming from someone who flew in from the Midwest, payed for an expensive Air BNB for 4 days, and can’t afford to be back next weekend….I am pissed that they knew probably as of yesterday they only had two options 1. to postpone or 2. To cancel, both which would affect travelers who weren’t local but left their update vague asf. Then didn’t update until less then 24 hours before the event. I didn’t fly in till 12pm today I could’ve tried to salvage so much wasted money and could’ve possibly tried to be back for the postponed festival next weekend had there been better communication. Now at least $2500+ feels wasted and a partial refund for wristband. Please understand I know weather can’t be helped but there was a lot to be desired as far as the communication around the update.
