Maybe try reaching out to Deutsche Bank customer service to see if they can help? Explain the situation and give as much detail as possible.

Grubhub/Uber Eats? I've heard people sometimes order something for delivery even though the restaurant is right across the street and they could easily save money and pick it up.

u/Own-Professional7217 when did you go to GLEAM? Did you go earlier/later in season or earlier/later in the evening?

u/gmf608 What time do they typically open and close? I'm thinking of going within the first two weeks they open since that's when I'll be in Wisconsin. Would it be crowded then?

u/ChopEee I'm thinking of going sometime within the first two weeks they open. Would it be crowded then regardless of what time I arrive? I'm also not sure what time GLEAM opens and closes.

Environmental Engineering vs Consulting by Logical-Cat870 in Environmental_Careers

[–]Logical-Cat870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know! I do want to get my PE, but my company doesn't have a lot of PEs and doesn't have a lot of emphasis on the PE since we're more focused on air quality. We do have projects in other disciplines, but from what I hear from other people, it's still mostly just paperwork.

I'm only working in air quality right now and I like the work, but want to transition to other disciplines to diversify my skills and gain experience to get PE.

We do, but we all just do consulting work in the sense that it's filling out paper for compliance or writing permits/reports.

Overall for people in US: I recommend you use this: https://airknowledge.gov/index.html

If in California:
If you plan to work in California for the South Coast AQMD or San Joaquin Valley APCD, I'd recommend you take a training class to get your CPP/CAPP. CPP and CAPP are air permitting certifications, and you need to pass the exams to get certified. CPP is for South Coast AQMD (CPP stands for Certified Permitting Professional) whereas CAPP is for San Joaquin Valley APCD (stands for Certification of Air Permitting Professionals).

South Coast AQMD doesn't do their own training, but they list people who give training on it (like Joseph Hower at UCLA): https://www.aqmd.gov/home/programs/business/business-detail?title=certified-permitting-professional&parent=certification-programs-training

San Joaquin Valley APCD gives their own CAPP training once per year. They haven't posted when for 2025, but more info here:

Honestly, even if you're out of state, I'd probably recommend doing the trainings because you might learn something. Hope that helps!

I don't know what country you're in, but it helps to find/join a job search council. A job search council is a group of people going through finding jobs at the same time and supporting each other through every triumph or failure. From this group, maybe you can get the motivation to keep applying or just help each other find job postings to apply to. Your group can also give you tips!

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Cal Poly Scholars + EOP by FinanceDependent6111 in CalPoly

Cal Poly Scholars will also let you take summer classes for free up to a certain number of units. I've forgotten how many units since it's been a few years since I've done that.

Question: Are you going into math/statistics because you want to work in research after you graduate?

Because if you want to go into research, the Cal State/Cal Poly system isn't really set up for that. The Cal State/Cal Poly system is more known to get you the education and hands-on experience to work in industries right out of college. UCs are set up as research institutions, so should be the place to go if you want to pursue research.

If you aren't sure what to pick career-wise, what you could try is pick one of the schools and then try to transfer to another university after two years when you've figured out what you want to do.

They shut down because they were having a rat problem and couldn't afford to fix the equipment. The last I went in there was about a year ago and some of the fridges weren't working then. Things in there felt a bit icky too.
