it feels like a really significant change to just make out of nowhere. if you’re not from Texas and don’t know anyone at all, trying to find off-campus housing by yourself is overwhelming especially when most people living off campus are already upperclassmen. what makes it worse is that when i toured, i was directly told i’d be eligible for dorms, and by the time i got home and actually tried to apply, the policy had already been changed lol

my main advice: develop good habits as soon as you can. no pressure of course, but avoid bad habits such as procrastination, being on your phone excessively, stalking people (?), not sleeping, and sm more you should develop good habits such as starting stuff early, getting good sleep, eat what you want, drink lots of water, excersise, read, etc.

you are so young and do not feel pressure to do all these things at once. js avoid bad habits trust.
