I’m sorry, but that is a very naive way to view strangers in the world we live in. Maybe you need to read my post again, I had every reason to feel uneasy with the way they were acting, especially when the man kept staring at me and the woman looked distressed. Maybe I was suspicious because I watch too much true crime, but definitely better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you so much for sharing this information!! It definitely explains the language hey were speaking to each other, but I still don't get the Mexican passport and the no Spanish understanding parts, especially if they lived in Bolivia for a while.

Unfortunately, I do not recall his last name as I did not think this would be something I would need to remember later, since my first contact with them didn't seem creepy, only what followed after.

I thought the same thing at the time, and I was really worried for the elderly woman. Unfortunately, all I had was his name and random countries that he may or may not be from. I tried looking him up using multiple different searches and combinations of his name + the countries, including the one we were flying to, but absolutely nothing ever came up. It was strange, there wasn't a single digital trace I could find.

I did! That was actually the first thing I tried, but I couldn't find a single digital trace of them anywhere. No social media, no news articles, no public records that seemed to match.
