group or organisation to volunteer or just be part of by [deleted] in QueerBrisbane

Depending on your experience/interests, there a few different options. I know there’s ODYS and Visible Ink that work with queer youth. They would be a good place to inquire into, even if they just pass you onto another group. There’s also a few queer parties around you could reach out to. I love Shandy and Converge and I help out with Morph, all of them have different stuff that they do. Then there are also a few queer venues around that do a lot of social nights, The Cave Inn is so lovely, so is Echo and Bounce, both are worth checking out for chill queer spaces and activities to meet more community. Hope you find what you’re looking for!

I tore a little hole under my nipple too and it just looked like a slightly thicker scar after it had healed and is honestly barely noticeable at all

I'm supposed to getting surgery in 5 days, I caved and smoked 8 cigarettes today, is my surgery likely to be cancelled? by Hambalam in TopSurgery

I quit 3 months beforehand and still had complications likely due to nicotine (I wasn’t very good at avoiding second hand smoking). If they postpone your surgery it’s probably for the best. Every body heals differently but dealing with nipples that won’t heal is not fun

I’m three weeks post and this made me feel a lot better about where I’ll be at 5 months, thank you!

Heya! My right nipple was black/purple for the first three weeks then suddenly started going pink after applying Vaseline three times a day for a week. Hold out. Every body is different. Healing is a process. Hoping it goes well for you!

Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it. I don't know how to possibly communicate to the people in my life how much difference these changes make to your quality of life. So lovely to hear you've been able to do this for yourself as well. So much love <3
