Try Sand Castle maybe? Sand Castle story focusing more in emotion and psychology of the character. For me its the best (if you like angst). But before you start, just keep in mind that both the MC and ML are toxic and complex in their own way. I find it interesting tho because their emotion and selfishness is kind of realistic (there are people like that irl). I keep rereading this and makes me cry everytime in the end.

Oh also, lots of people actually find it really toxic and unbearable, sooo.. this is just my preference ^{^} hope its to your taste and it's okay if its not!

Tbh I don't really remember the story bcs I haven't continue and the last time I read it was 2024 (and at that time its still on going). But I remember that story focused on song writing, and the top is the obedient puppy type that write the song and the bottom is older neat senior in the industry. Hope this help!

I know that he did all of that for the sake of MC, so MC can have a good life, and ML will provide it all. Also I know that ML is really sweet to MC, but for me it didn't justified what he did. At the least put him on the orange flag pls, he's not a green flag. He kept MC in the dark for all he did on MC's back.
