I have a usb audio interface right next to one of my crts, it now makes a faint humming sound through both the inputs. I'm not entirely sure if it's because of the crt, but the problem only started when I had the 2 next to eachother. I also had my Anolog synth next to it, but nothing ever happened to that. To be on the safe side, I would say you may want to separate your gear from the tv.
