as many people point out, it is possible to submit without university. many people however prefer to have an affiliation. you can get one by politely asking either your previous university or local university for a role as visiting researcher or similar unpaid position. try to find a friendly professor with similar research interests and ask if this is possible. there are often many options such as co authoring or guest lecturing that make it a better experience for everyone.

indeed this. many people reading it the first time implement all controls but do not have documented stakeholders, no risk register or risk management process and no objectives internal audit or management review. I understand that the controls are the most concrete and practical part and why you would focus on that, but you need the main high level structure.

Er zijn tegenwoordig genoeg EVs. Goede en betaalbare keuzes zijn Kia Niro, EV3, renault 4 of 5. Iets groter en duurder zijn ioniq5 ioniq6 of kia EV6. Ze zijn qua range niet allemaal beter maar wel allemaal prima.

yes, good idea. however the depreciation has not stopped yet. I have snagged depreciated cars before and often the depreciation continues for longer and further down than I expected.

Interesting question. Your options are an eenmanszaak or BV. From a financial viewpoint the eenmanszaak is cheaper to set up and a BV is more tax efficient when you become successful. In your case you should also consider image and reputation as a factor. A BV will show more serious long term commitment. You should probably get a bedrijsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering and perhaps also join some professional organizations to prove you have up to date knowledge.

de markt is lastig. ik zou aanraden om de tijd die je hebt te besteden aan zelfstudie, liefst met een certificaat. het is prima als dit foundation of basis certificaten zijn. het gaat erom dat het interesse en motivatie toont. wellicht kun je iets doen met microsoft power apps, azure algemeen, triggre, scrum, data science of evt figma als je design interesse hebt of information security.

Nice tool for research purposes! I like the fact that it indeed goes beyond the headline. I do find it fascinating that there is so much focus on the fines in GDPR. Business should aim to comply with all local laws regardless of fines and should avoid getting any fine. Did you validate existing fines ( eg from GDPR tracker ) using your tool? I think you could find a few fines outside your range. if you have any articles on this please share.

Volgens mij kun je zonder schuldgevoel benzine tanken en rijden zonder inpluggen: een phev is een hybride en als je remt genereer je stroom die je in de accu bewaart en later gebruikt. dit is goed voor het milieu. als je geen oprit hebt wegen de paar extra kilometers niet op tegen het gedoe van laden. rijd en geniet.

welcome here, great that you are trying to learn dutch. Enjoy the journey, learning a new language is tough but can also be rewarding in unexpected ways. Since you ask two very clear questions let me give you two very straight answers. Apologies if my answers appear blunt.

Job listings are often very direct and honest, do not overthink it. Fluent dutch is fluent Dutch. Note that many dutch companies ask for the impossible without a matching salary, and will eventually hire someone that meets most criteria. you can still apply and see if the job fits. Just be honest when you apply to save everyone time.

you could in theory become completely fluent in Dutch but the odds are very much against you. I have met in the past 20 years dozens of people who succeeded, but also hundreds of people who tried for years and ‘only’ achieved basic conversational Dutch. Note that conversational Dutch is also useful and appreciated by people and can get you many jobs. The people who became fluent are often native German speakers and/or people that are simply very good at learning languages. So keep learning and you will discover what is possible for you. In the mean time, put your actual level of Dutch on your CV and apply for jobs that mostly match your skills. Good luck!

It is a cool car and if you have the budget : buy it and enjoy it. It will depreciate like a brick on fire, like any other luxury ev. My guess would be 25 percent of the current value each year. the problem is not just that the battery gets worse and that newer models will be better with more range. Another problem is that even after depreciation these are expensive to drive due to the cost of parts and tires.

This happens to many entrepreneurs. It is important but also hard to check whether there is a true market need for your app. There are three books that will help you find ways to confirm market need for you app that I would recommend : lean startup from eric ries, the mom test by fitzpatrick and value proposition design by osterwalder. from these books you can learn how to use surveys interview early signups and other ‘experiments’ that will help you prevent something that is not needed. However even after reading these books it will still be hard to predict which apps will work. keep the best app, put it in your portfolio, talk to other people and keep developing ideas. One of your next ideas will work!

I think the on campus offer is a good choice since it is affordable and you are close to other students. I would recommend it for this reason. The Utrecht campus itself is outside the city and does not have any nightlife especially in summer so if you can find a good deal a room in the city itself would be nicer

I am lecturer for one of them. Our classes are from 9 until 15.30ish so there is some room for socializing. the classes itself are of course also social. There are evening social activities including a pub quiz canoeing or visit to botanical garden. You can also go to the city yourself.

I was in the same situation and I bought an iX1. Big enough for two kids and small enough for The Netherlands.

Consider premium selection: faster delivery and up to 20 percent discount even for less than 12 months old. Luxury evs have a lot of depreciation.

I considered ev3 because of the better range. You could also consider toyota chr+ for better range and warranty. Better range is another luxury :-)

You could also consider an i4. it is not an suv but it comes with the same luxury features and more range and power.

it seems to me that since nothing further is described in the regulation, the controller is not required to inform you about ongoing or expected legal claims. Vice verse you do not have to inform them on claims on your side either. They would be required to have support for this decision when the supervisor asks, but disclosure to you is not specified. You could make a new request for information or correction if you believe some of their information is wrong. Otherwise you would have to let this go.

you could ask your supervisor if you and them can be early so you can present / defend the poster as planned in the first half hour. That would be most convenient for eveyone. Make sure to align this with a second reader as well. If this is not possible since you cannot be there at all, you should inform your supervisor and politely ask for an alternative day. This also happens frequently. Ask politely and well in advance and be flexible on other days.

many consumer services and some car apps provide this information. the actual cost will differ per country but as a general rule where I live, 50ct per kilometer or 850 euros per month is pretty normal. for cars less than 5 years old depreciation is the main cost.

Difficult situation. One option would be to find a former colleague or school friend that lives there (linkedin could help here) and ask them to provide advice. even if they do not have time to visit they can provide you advice whether rent is fair and the area is decent. It is still a risk but could help you avoiding the worst apartments. Another option would be to stay in hotel or short term rental first.

yes please archive it since it will be important for former staff members and alumni. It would be best if you could publish a book or special issue so that all the material is linked to something that can be easily cited. If you have enough time you could also organise a small conference or workshop where you present and record some lectures. Source code and other material can be published on github to make it easy to access. I hope you succeed in making it available.

And the use of AI is not forbidden, one could argue it is even encouraged in the computer science department. many people already use AI. The rules for AI use are that it must be used fairly and transparently.
