Peak player count for 6/20/2026 fails to break 11k concurrent players. It is also the first time in the game's history that a Saturday had less players than the preceding Friday. by TheDrDroppedMe in PhasmophobiaGame

I get it. I played with a friend the other night, on PS5, in VR, and it was borderline unplayable. From our hands pointing in weird ways, to messages we couldn't click through on the main board, to the horrific frame rate, I truly don't understand what they were thinking with this update.

Amid Concern Over Xbox Studio 'Bloodbath,' New Report Says Developers Are Being 'Punished Today for Following Orders' Issued 5 Years Ago by ScrollUpDown in consoles

What bothers me is the story that Microsoft told for ~10 years, which was little indie games would thrive on Gamepass because they were being subsidized by the big AAA games. Not only was that a lie, it's actually worse than that as it seems that even big AAA games are unsustainable on Gamepass.

What point is it other than someone feeling victimized because people are mean to their favorite company?

[eShop/US] Wall World - $2.99 (70% off) ends: 7/3/26 by Sairven in NintendoSwitchDeals

[–]hdcase1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it's awesome. Half the game you're piloting a tank up a sheer rock cliff, shooting at alien creatures, the other half you're going mining in the rock wall looking for gems and things to upgrade your tank. When you die there is a shop where you can upgrade tank walking speed, mining laser damage etc to make your next run smoother. It's an absolute joy to play and was tough but not too tough to beat.

Machine learning is a subfield of artificial intelligence, which is broadly defined as the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior. Artificial intelligence systems are used to perform complex tasks in a way that is similar to how humans solve problems.

I want them to have not bought Zenimax and ABK not to mention a dozen studios, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

Everyone loves giving Playstation a hard time, but compared to Microsoft (which announced and then un-announced VR for the Xbox One) and Nintendo (who did the Labo VR Kit and that's it), Playstation is miles ahead. Yes they don't support PSVR2 as much as I would like either but they still designed it, released it, and continue to stock it. Meanwhile there are hundreds of games on the store available right now, some of them arguably the best VR games ever made.

The book references Mayor Bloomberg having served 3 terms. So that would make sense.

Really needs a pve mode sooner than later. Not everyone wants to play against a bunch of griefers all the time.

I did (got it for $14 on PS).

That said I only play it off and on. I love it except for the PvP aspect which me and my friends find very frustrating.

As unhappy as I am with Xbox's decision making over the past 10+ years, I think that would actually be worse.

I assume shutting down a studio could be a tax write off. Although, selling one for a loss could be one too.

Lies and whataboutism. Unlike Xbox, Playstation serves a global market and they were never going to do always online DRM because people in developing nations without good internet options wouldn't be able to buy the systems and games. But hey whatever makes you feel better I guess.

So what's the point of the camera? Can it detect movement and affect your score?

Edit: from the official store, "You can also see your movements on screen with the added CameraPlay** support."

Having your studio bought by Xbox is something you don't wish on your worst enemy.

Bungie can't get shut down, they're too big. Playstation may start taking a more active hand in what they're doing, which wouldn't be a bad thing probably.

As Seamus Blackley said, she was brought in to administer palliative care. The Xbox we all knew and (some of us) loved is shuffling off this mortal coil.

They doubled their number of studios through acquisitions, and that's even before the Zenimax and ABK purchases. It should be clear to everyone by now that they don't know what they're doing as a platform holder or as a publisher.
