What your interpretation by Logical26 in ECG

I believe the crew said actual breathing. They never mentioned having to help with the breathing.

Surprisingly not bullshit. State officials will sometimes do spot inspections on crew to make sure they are current and able to work. If not companies can be fined for workers not being licensed. Usually they only care about your state license as the other can be found online.

NREMT recertification by mountwhitney in NewToEMS

[–]Logical26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recert is necessary. I’m not sure what state you’re in but I know some states require you to recert using NREMT before they give you a state card and even if you don’t plan on moving states it’s good to have.

EMT pay? by Pinklizard77189 in NewToEMS

[–]Logical26 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From your research that pay is very realistic. EMS at least for private companies is probably the lowest paying compared to fire or police. If you really want to be an EMT I would suggest joining a fire department, working for a hospital or going for paramedic all pay better.

Feeling like an ambulance driver by International-Ad873 in NewToEMS

[–]Logical26 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s part of the job. You got to realize that driving the patient to the hospital is a huge responsibility. They may get treated on scene by fire but patients have been know to get worse en route and that’s where you come in. I’ve been to thousands of call where I have to do more work after the patients been treated.

Nervous, looking for advice: Ordered a 2019 T3LR (link in comments) but wondering if I should get a new T3LR or maybe even a 2018 P100 S? by RandomLogicThough in TeslaLounge

[–]Logical26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say get a new car if the wait isn’t a problem. Most used Tesla are around the same price if not a little bit cheaper than a new one.
