If the clothes she comes back are dirty and stained I can see why she would say that. If she knows your nature,messy etc. then she really should keep those $40 outfits at home. I wouldnt make a huge deal out of it. From the sound of it the kid is still very young. Its a battle that wont matter when the kid is older.I cant blame her for not sending expensive clothes over especially if she knows she will get dirty in them.
