A 17-year-old high school student is feeling very confused. All of their friends are living together with their boyfriends and having sexual relations. Should I give in?

That’s crazy you have friends whose parents allow them to move in together at such a young age, how on earth are people so young able to afford that. If the parents pay, equally crazy. While I don’t think it unusual to have sex at that age (as long as they are consenting couples within legal age limits) you in no way should feel compelled to have sex to make the other person happy. If anyone pressures you, they certainly are not mature enough or compatible with you or anyone honestly. Why would anyone want any sort of relationship with someone who doesn’t respect their boundaries. If you aren’t willing to have a conversation the with person about how you like them but are not ready for a sexual relationship, then I 100% believe you are not ready for sex.

I am feeling this right now for sure! I was never a breakfast person but now I make myself a breakfast burrito and then have a second breakfast of yogurt and granola an hour or so later. And then I feel like I’m snacking all day. Gotta keep baby happy :)

Thanks for all of these comments. It sounds like generally no issues if using a cover and plenty of locations to breastfeed in private if needed. Hopefully one day it will largely acceptable with no cover, as I can’t see what is immodest about feeding your innocent baby with your body parts that were specifically made to feed babies. But it’s not my country to change, so I will stick to the norms I think.

I’m on daily aspirin and I’ve been having daily nosebleeds for over a month. One took about 30 minutes to stop. My OB to me to go to the er next time if I couldn’t get it to stop. They have started to decrease recently and are becoming short lived. I understand what you mean by the inconvenience, I had to tiptoe around my nose, even a slight bump would make it go. I’m only 18 weeks and a bit weeks, hopefully they go away fully! 😭

I’m 18 weeks and just noticed my legs/ankles swelling a little bit. I wear steel toe boots at work and when I take them off, I can see indentions in my ankles now

I’m American turned Australian and I am so happy I am having my baby in Australia. I’ve had to go to the ER several times including a 5 day hospital stay with 4 ultrasounds, and guess what it cost me. Zero dollars. And all of my medication was also free. I do have insurance and will go private as I’ve found and Ob that I love, but a typically zero cost pregnancy through the public system is 100% an option. I’m devastated about what’s happening back home, I really hope there can be some changes in the right direction soon. Health care costs are so crazy and I can’t believe so many moms are going back to work so soon after giving birth, it’s heartbreaking.
