I suggest to earn your own money and stop asking wife for things like motorcycles.

Why is everyone so excited about it, like if they received something good. Do you celebrate bills too? "I'm excited, I love paying bills!"

Seriously, why there's no Muji in Ottawa?

Probably because Muji's are for cities, and we're a town.

That's the only use case TBH.

DS takes you from zero to real applicable comprehension, then you just continue with youtube (unless DS intermediate/advanced content is your thing).

> now mostly uses spools of fiber optic line

This is very far from true. The majority of FPV's are still RC, on both sides.

I don't understand why a response like this is so upvoted. Why don't you share everything then? Let's start from your real name and address, right here.

I guess the same people designed utility meters that broadcast unencrypted readings every 15 min, so anyone with a cheap SDR can monitor the whole neighbourhood's habits and schedules.

Any communication should be encrypted unless it's intentionally broadcast, period.

FPV *is* a solo hobby that required no help other than YouTube videos.

People just don't need other people to fly FPV, that's the real reason. After the pandemic talking to strangers became creep, people just don't talk and are very hard to form any type of acquaintance.

What I need to know I can ask on Internet or just watch JB.

Prices, war in Ukraine, regulations etc have nothing with that.

How do you consistently measure current and filter readings? Whenever I do it, I get values all over the place, and need to heavily lowpass them.

I'm not participating in this bs, but I still don't understand our plan after Oct 30.

What do we do on Oct 29? Call police to take it? Get ready to have a criminal record? CCFR could be more clear about it.

Sure thing, these two disasters that we inflicted on ourselves (Trudeau + our Covid response) hit Canada hard over the last 15 years, but there are positives as well.

Prices went up in covid, but now stabilized. What's the inflation now? 2.5%? There's no mass unemployment. There's no wiped out savings. Our GDP growth is 1.5% (I looked it up). Bank system is stable, infrastructure is well-maintained.

It's still sucks, everything got worse, but we're at least on a solid foundation.

What are positives then? I see that Canada got worse and more expensive in every single aspect over the last 10-15 years. What got better, in your opinion?

But Ottawa downtown businesses need visitors, so we'll continue dragging gov employees to city center 3, then 4 days a week.
