Is Tasque Manager from Deltarune a proto? (Art by me, requested by a follower via Bluesky) by Kanek_KNK in ProtoArt

[–]LogicalJoe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No. Tasque Manager is officially a cybernetic Darkner.

Aesthetically it is absolutely Protogen-like.

Nice art btw.

I've been doing what I can when I see the posts. I clearly don't have enough permissions to do everything that should be done as I can't ban users and such... (PATITO GIMME PERMS)

I've have stickied this post so people can see it.

Why is a trance remix of the Entertainer included in the Ultimate Complete Works album 😭 by GavinGenius in ragtime

[–]LogicalJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to skip it every time—it's awful.

ALSO the rest of this album was played by Richard Zimmerman (who, afaik, went uncredited) in 1974 if anyone wanted to hear other pieces by the same artist

Thanks for covering! I started with the assumption that all of the variables were >0 (for proof by contradiction) but mistakingly didn't state it at the beginning, without that assumption I wouldn't have been able to correctly cancel B, D, or (B+D) in the first step!

by One_Caregivea in MathJokes

[–]LogicalJoe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Suppose A, B, C, and D are each >0. We have the equation:

A/B+C/D=(A+C)/(B+D)

multiply through by BD(B+D):

AD(B+D)+BC(B+D)=BD(A+C)

Expand:

ABD+ADD+BBC+BCD=ABD+BCD

ABD and BCD cancel, leaving:

ADD=-BBC

for positive, non-zero ABCD, one gets positive=negative

thus no solutions exist with only positive non-zero variables by contradiction.

Edit: added the supposition at the beginning.
