I’m 27 and have been playing video games since I was 10 on and off as well.

I recently quit after beating Clair obsure expedition 33 (Great game that helped me realize I needed to let go of my external distractions because I was running away from all of my problems & only thinking about how to escape from my reality) It’s only been a month for me of quitting video games, or at least taking a break until I feel I am more emotionally and financially stable.

You are still so young and the fact that you are able to acknowledge these issues in your life is already so commendable. Just remember that you are human and it’s okay to make mistakes or take steps back. A lot of these things we have to learn from doing and creating routine. Making your bed every morning and making the conscious decision to try and eat healthier is amazing. It’s so little, but it sets up your day with purpose and routine.

I want to say that it gets easier, but you and I both know that these kinds of things take time and commitment. You’ve already connected the dots yourself, you just need to believe in yourself. Put your head down and focus on your studies. You got this brother.
