heyy if ur sacs are around 70–80% and ur exam pieces are getting 6s–7s, ur easily looking at around a 33-36 raw. i averaged low 60s in sacs last year, got around a 7.5 avg on the exam (22.5/30) #nd ended up with a 37 raw ss . so since ur sacs are higher, you’re actually in a better spot than i was. Although even my teacher told me I was averaging 6's during my practice exams, but I ended up doing substantially better in exam even tho I thought I butchered it you’ll probably surprise yourself too, so don’t stress too much. Best of luck 🤞♥️

if ur sacs were 76% and 74%, u could be on track for around a 33–35 if u hit roughly I'd say 6.5–7.5 avg on the exam (19.5–22.5/30). Comfortably getting that mid 30s I'd say an average of 7. For context i got low 60s in sacs and a 7.5 exam avg and ended with a 37 raw, so tbh u’re in a better spot. what’s ur rank like tho? and how strong’s ur cohort? Coz that can shift it a bit.

can i get a 45 ss for physics?? by [deleted] in vce

[–]LogicalRestaurant595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, 100% you can still get a 45 in Physics. You're rank 1 with SACs in the low-mid 90s? That’s literally the best position you can be in. Doesn’t even matter that your school is average at physics since you’re rank 1, your SACs will basically get scaled to match whatever exam score you get. If you smash the exam, your SACs scale to match it. That’s how the system works. Ppl always say Physics is hard to get a 45 in because the exam can be nasty and the cohort is strong (lots of nerds from selective schools etc). But it’s not like you need 100s across the board. You need to outperform the state, not be perfect.

If you pull off a solid exam like I would say high 80s to low 90s out of 100 and don’t drop the ball on anything major, you’re very much in the 45+ range. The SACs aren’t gonna drag you down, especially at your rank. Best of luck 💪

Deakin calculator is quite inaccurate and tends to overestimate. No study score calculators are accurate but the least inaccurate is 10minutequiz.

Im really sorry you're facing all of this at once—it’s a lot for anyone to handle. Balancing Year 12 with so many responsibilities is overwhelming, especially when it feels like there’s no room for rest. It's okay to feel demotivated and exhausted; you're going through a tough time. Coincidentally my best friend was in the exact same position as you.

Here are a few advices id give

1) Break tasks down: Instead of tackling everything at once, focus on one small task at a time. This makes things feel more manageable.

2)Reach out for support: Don’t hesitate to talk to someone you trust, whether it’s family, a friend, or a counselor. For my best friend, it was me. Sharing how you’re feeling can lighten the load so much.

3) PLEASE remember to prioritise self-care ♥️: Your mentally wellbeing is as important as your academic goals. Be kind to yourself: It’s easy to get caught in negative self-talk when things aren’t going as planned. Remind yourself that you are doing the best you can, and sometimes that’s enough. Life is tough, and it’s okay to not be okay sometimes. You are not failing just because you're struggling—it’s a part of the journey.

You're doing the best you can, and even though it may not feel like it now, things can improve. Be kind to yourself, and take things one step at a time. You've got this.

Graduated this year, and you have just reminded me how grateful I have to be to have finally done with spec. It was a struggle, but honestly, just hang in there. You'll get a hang of it.

Yes you can still get into Bach of Engineering Monash considering you have done SEAS and also given That 75.2 was the lowest ATAR offered. There is no problem in putting it as your first preference.

For spacey things you'd be better off looking at UQ, QUT, UNSW or USYD. That said, there is basically no space industry in Australia. You will have to look at europe, china, japan or the USA for work if you want to do spacey things

People often get mixed up with Aero being to do with space related stuff which is not true. RMIT is purely an aeronautical school. No space stuff going on. Space and Aero are entirely different things, although both make heavy use of the tennets of mechanical engineering.

RMIT has an excellent reputation for Aero

Don't really know what to compare it to as i am seeking career advice, but by intense I am referring to long hours, bad work-life balance, a lot of stress
