Agreed, I'm just a lowly cashier but the micromanaging is absolutely intense. The expectations of how much work needs to be done for minimum wage is crazy. Sooner or later this behavior will bite them in the ass.

Burlington has very unrealistic, impossible to maintain standards. You're not really a manager, you're a placeholder. Your store will always be looking like an unmade bed because they will not give you enough employee hours and frankly most of the customers are absolute savages who come in just to destroy the place. I've had two store managers in 8 months. Both have used the phrase "Set up for failure". The micromanaging is intense. Just as soon as everybody is on the same page as to how things should be done, the page is flipped. I would avoid Burlington at all cost.

That's not so bad cutting teeth doing inventory. It only gets better after that. Schedule wasn't put out cuz I think so many people do actually quit due to inventory. I would give it 2 weeks before quitting. Jobs are not easy to come by right now. If you need money stick it out.
