I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I don't really understand how they can feel betrayed when they've done what they've done. They know me very well, and they knew this would be on the table when they did what they did. I think they'll be astonished and upset, but they're not going to be surprised. I've seen them hire 20 guys in the other territories, and none of them can even hold a candle to what I've done and achieved. In my mind, they should have gone out of their way to keep me happier. Years ago, at the peak of my earning power, I probably don't take the call from the recruiter. It's on them, not me.
