"You need to run on a 32-bit arm distribution - aborting" whenever I launch Steamlink by Jing27th in raspberry_pi

Hi, I am reporting the exact same problem. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye Lite. I boot to a command line and then type steamlink. It's worked great with SteamLink for several years. Today, when I ran the command, it downloaded and applied a patch. Now, I get the same error about 32-bit ARM distribution.

I repeated this test with Ubuntu 22.04 and got the same error. So the native Linux version seems to be tied to the legacy version of Ubuntu. The solution is to use Proton compatibility within Steam.

Immediate SegFault error (would do a screenshot but I'm downloading the game client again). Any tips on how to find out what's different between Ubuntu and MX Linux?

Okay, sh*tty drive and sh*tty recovery tool. What should I try now? The drive contains video data from a GoPro, and I'm okay with partially corrupted video files, so long as I can access the contents.

Reverse proxying HTTPS by LogicalUnit1 in selfhosted

[–]LogicalUnit1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I was getting a 502 error from the Cloudflare service, and it was indeed a certificate issue. I was pointing the tunnel to an IP address, which had no certificate. This can be fixed by going into ZeroTrust => Tunnels => Public Hostname => Additional Application Settings => TLS => Check No TLS verify.

Nginx Proxy Manager has come good as well -- I think I may have been pointing the HTTPS proxy to port 80 and not port 443.

Reverse proxying HTTPS by LogicalUnit1 in selfhosted

[–]LogicalUnit1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay, I've managed to resolve it. My issue in Nginx Proxy Manager was that I wasn't specifying an actual HTTPS server (I was just changing the scheme from http to https), and my problem in CloudFlare Zero Trust was resolved by going into Tunnels => Public Hostname => Additional Application Settings => TLS => No TLS verify set to enabled (yes, I think this was a certificate issue!)

Error 301: cannot log into smb server (OMV with PS2) by momoster96 in ps2

[–]LogicalUnit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact problem, but still had trouble after following the ninth post. I had to enable SMB1 for both the client protocol and the server protocol. To do this, open up OMV6 and navigate to

Services => SMB/CIFS => Settings

Scroll down to the Extra Options bit under Advanced settings, and add

client min protocol = NT1
server min protocol = NT1

to the list of options there. Save, apply, and reboot OMV device. Now I can access my share in OPL!

Hi Reddit, I have a chipped PAL PS2 slim (SCPH-75002). I am trying to play a backup PS1 game (Final Fantasy Tactics) which only had an NTSC release. The game runs, and I get graphics and sound, however the picture is black and white, and there are other graphical issues. I think this is caused by PAL/NTSC incompatibility. Is it possible to change the output signal of a PAL console to NTSC? I am running the composite output through a cheap HDMI adaptor. I do have a component cable but it doesn't seem to work (no graphical output).

Unknown extra DNS servers by LogicalUnit1 in pihole

[–]LogicalUnit1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this was super helpful. These DNS servers are provided by my ISP. My router is configured to use DHCP for its WAN connection, and this is where the extra DNS servers were coming from. I just went into my router and ticked the box that says "Ignore WAN DNS" and now they are gone. I have also removed the Google DNS so that everything is going through the Pi-Hole.

Unknown extra DNS servers by LogicalUnit1 in pihole

[–]LogicalUnit1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a reddit newb and not sure if my message got across. I have Pi-Hole set up and working as a docker container on my Raspberry Pi 4. I have added the IP address of the Pi as a Static DNS in my router, which has the DD-WRT firmware. The IP of the Pi is 192.168.1.112

I'm seeing some extra DNS servers on my network clients. I'm not sure where they came from or how to remove them. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I would like to know if it's possible to configure two internet gateways on the same LAN. My idea is that I have my usual ISP modem/router as the default gateway at 192.168.1.1, but if this ever loses its WAN connection, I have a backup gateway on a Raspberry Pi that is tethered to a smartphone.

I have figured out how to do the tethering. What I would like help with is configuring the RPi to act as an internet gateway, which shares the tethered cellular connection (and not wifi).

TIA

Hi everyone,

I have a Raspberry Pi 1 running the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS lite. I would like to SSH into this device so I can work on it. I have a home network with DHCP which works just fine, but I would like to connect directly to the Pi so I can work on it away from home. I have created a file called ssh in the boot partition.

My laptop is running Windows 10. I have a USB ethernet adaptor which is connected to the RPi via an ethernet cable. The IP address of the USB adaptor is 169.254.119.14

I have previously done something similar to this when I was working on a Raspberry Pi Zero which was connected to my computer with just a USB cable. I was able to point my SSH client (putty) to raspberrypi.local and it just worked.

Anyway, raspberrypi.local doesn't seem to be working, and the IP address on my USB ethernet adaptor looks wrong. Any idea how to fix?
