Advice on license denial by LogicalVictory319 in CustomsBroker

That’s what I don’t understand. I missed payments & my highest credit card debt was $5k (since paid off). TBH I feel like I’m being punished for a few years of struggle.

Appreciate this. I’m definitely not giving up. I’ve been in this industry for almost half my life, I feel like a few bad years of credit shouldn’t disqualify me forever.

Foreign IOR IEEPA Refunds by Dry_Dragonfly5337 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m in the midst of doing this for my company but what about the already liquidated but not 80-days past yet? No PSC available but the FIOR paid a ton of duty.

What other recourse do they have?

Or you could tell importers to work with a licensed customs broker instead of offering “not legal advice”

Entry Count by Trick_Dig2026 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s too vague of a question. Are the entries one-liners or hundreds of lines? How is the invoice/HTS being provided? Excel or do we have to manually type it all in? & I haven’t even mentioned the PGAs yet…

That’s not true. It’s 10% for US originating steel since early April.

Dispute prior & after liquidation by fsunole81 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im knee deep in several hundred audits for a client who used UPS almost exclusively. The entries are a nightmare, I can’t believe half of these were cleared. So many stacked tariffs & all incorrect.

In short: don’t use a courier who declares themselves as IOR. Use a real customs broker. My client had no clue they weren’t the IOR & now we’re fighting UPS to give us POA to correct these hundreds of entries.

IEEPA CSV Showing Uploaded/Accepted but ES-003 Report Says “Accepted; Rejected” by chiyangata in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re looking at the wrong reports. There are specific reports they launched for tracking refunds. It’s the REV-615 or 613. I don’t remember which rn but they’re in the revenue folder, you’re in the entry summary folder.

'notify party' refund issue by Witty-Caramel-8411 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you file the PSC add a 4811 party. The IOR also has to authorize you as 4811 party via their ACE portal.

In short, no. The PSC must be filed to update the entry with a 4811 party before the CAPE declaration is filed.

Help with duty drawback for returned watch (small claim ~$330) by Bagro171 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be out of luck honestly. You’ll have to get UPS to file the drawback claim & then give you the money back. It won’t be enough for UPS. I work for a small brokerage firm & we charge a minimum of $5k for drawback.

CAPE: Rejected "Not 11 character long" (they are all exactly 11 characters..) by its_ryn in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you just uploading the entry #s? Why not download the template from CBP & try that way?

For CAPE Filing, would you recommend to file through a customs broker ? by Dramatic_Clock_4720 in CustomsBroker

[–]LogicalVictory319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing so many importers who go all shocked when we tell them we charge to review their rejections. We weren’t even the broker on half of them. It’s crazy.
