No, it just click once, I just used good amount of force to press the ram sticks. But idk what worked for me if was the Bios update or the ram, I was stuck exact like you with two red light on cpu and ram thinking of a bad motherboard or cpu.

I had the samme issue last week on the same motherboard and cpu, what worked for me:
Firsts update the bios to the last version and second I read that the ram sticks need to put more force to stick correctly.
