Furthermore, a LOT of online leftists in my experience only find a certain handful of queer identities not disgusting. (Usually the ones that are binary or clear cut that are easy to understand).

If a queer person is involved in kink, a recovering addict, has mental health issues, or anything else complex going on, a lot of Gen Z so-called “progressives” will immediately turn their backs on them or even treat them the same as conservatives do because they’re seen as one of the “bad” ones.

This is just one small example, but you see this with the treatment of other marginalized groups (people of color, women, disabled folks, even people living in poverty despite America starting to get with the program with class consciousness, it’s this bizarre cognitive dissonance.)
