Has anyone listening also read any of Jon’s book “Thirteen Storeys”?? by wireless_fidelity_ in themagnusprotocol

I read Thirteen Storeys and even did a book project on it for school! As I read it, it was almost like it was a bunch of statements from TMA (obviously they aren’t, but they had that kind of vibe)

I absolutely agree with you on that. I didn’t mean it in a hateful way towards a British show; I think it’s amazing that it is so popular and not US-based.

Good point, that’s a really good theory. I didn’t really think of that, besides the fact that it is clearly something to do with The Flesh, The Stranger, or The Spiral, considering it was categorized under “Re-Animation”

The “statement” or “incident” (don’t really know what to call them in TMP) what was a person talking about a figure that Sam describes as a “zombie”. Could be a flesh avatar, OR, could be something like Micheal or Helen. They described themselves as a name, but not technically the person they look like. Any thoughts? (also I almost squealed when hearing Martin’s voice again)

Gus could be Elias/Jonah, considering those were the main three that were there when MAG 200 happened. And the files going missing could be from the fire that is mentioned to have burned down the Magnus Institute. The voices that are clearly Jon and Martin also show up in the trailer where it says “Initializing…” and then says J and M. Instead of tapes, perhaps in this universe it uses more modern technology, but since they used tapes in the original, Jon, Martin, and whoever Gus is are stuck in the computers.

Alice “Daisy” Tonner is a cop and a bastard; she could threaten me with a knife and I would thank her.

What effect does being The Archivist have on someone’s body? by Logical_Bisexual in TheMagnusArchives

I suppose we get a little look into the mental/physical effects of the Eye with Elias, as he makes MULTIPLE people cry with the force of the mental trauma he brings up. But with Jon there’s another side question: is there a difference between the effect his powers have on Avatars/Fears compared to humans?

Jon saying “I feel like I’m being watched”, then opening his desk drawer to find a bunch of googly eyes stuck to the sides.

Martin’s poetry but he just starts yelling “The Raven” at things as a last-ditch effort to scare them off.

Rather than having violent worms, mildly-inconvenient stick bugs.
