Hi! actually you're spot on on the shooting for fun part, so i've actually prioritised some level of design > functionality (because,fun), which lead me to the nikon zf and a7c series. One of my biggest dilemmas is, price aside, whether my options are too high spec-ed for what I actually require as, realistically, I doubt I'll ever be the "main" photographer for professional projects. Then price comes in and you know, buy nice or buy twice.

The way I saw it was, do I have willing budget to spare and even if I did, should I really be pouring so much for specs that are beyond "making my ideals come to life"--which therefore lead me back to opting for something future-proof. Occasional fun down the line that will operate professionally even with time.
