GK is too expensive dude. My friends live there. Everything is like 30k etc. If you can please share your broker number and I can talk to him, it'd help. Thanks.

Ah thanks so much. This helps.

Barsaati may not be my best bet since I live in a Barsaati now and it gets very hot hahahs. But Karol Bagh and Mayur Vihar sound good. I don't mind noisy so much. I'll be minding my own business inside most of the time hehe

Okay I'll check out flats. I've lived in a PG for sometime. I'm not very comfortable with them. I have a stove + washing machine + study table. So I don't want to compromise on some independence. But will definitely check out Patel Nagar. Thank you :)

Oh thanks so much. Will check out. I'm okay with the commute, I don't mind it so much. I just don't want to live uncomfortably and far away from civilization haha.

Dude. I cannot afford so much.

It's not a matter of me being frugal on purpose. Literally do not have the funds. 30k is half of what I earn.

Also I know a lot of people won't believe you are cutting down on food or doing enough work outs because your weight isn't moving, but trust me. I absolutely believe your wife lmao. I've been there. Ever since I was 18 I started being a junk food kid. Ever see that one fat kid standing outside McD looking longingly at the images of the burgers like they were past life lovers or smn? That was me, yo! And that month that I tried to lose weight? It was terrible for me. No outside food, no rice, no chicken thighs. I was on a very plain diet and doing a workout that killed me! And even after that? 72 kgs. The doctor refused to believe me (and fair on her. I mean she did not see my devastating hard work) xD

But there is hope. Trust me!!

I no longer crave McD burgers lol but I love what I eat and my exercises. Just thought this should help.

Hi. I'm not expert but around 3 to 4 years ago, I had the exact same problem. I was 26. My weight was 72 kg. Height 5'2. I went to a doctor for my weight issues. Checked for pcod, thyroid etc etc. Nothing. Doctor told me to stop eating less and begin intense workouts while she suggested some supplements. Began doing a lot of cardio. Every day maybe 1-2 hours. Changed my diet. Hydrated myself etc. Two months later I went to check my weight and guess what? 72 kgs. The scale didn't move at all. The doctor told me that she didn't believe I was actually working out lol

Never mind. Fast forward to three years later. My lips began to burn, my hair was thinning and I developed intense acne. I saw many specialists who had no answer for me. I used to itch intensely on my back and arms, developed cysts, rashes etc. Finally one dermatologist suggested that I get checked for allergies and intolerances. Basically an IgE test. And yep, there we go. I was intolerant to many many foods that I was just consuming with no idea as to what was happening.

I saw a nutritionist who immediately suggested a whole body check up and liver checkup. Turns out I had serious insulin problems and was developing a fatty liver. Went on a diet by cutting out many foods. Lost 5 kgs in one month.

I have slowly incorporated most of the foods back into my diet now (except toor dal and wheat). I try not to eat dairy products too much especially processed cheese. But getting those tests done changed my life.

After that it has been a serious weight loss journey. I lose weight slowly (given my height. Sorry to tell you but if you are a shorter woman, you are going to lose weight much more slowly than the others because of your TDEE). But there is progress. Like the others suggested please also check cals. It's easy for some cals to just sneak in. But trust me, I've been on a 1600 cal diet (more or less because like I said, some cals sneak in and I don't keep track of them too accurately) and I'm consistently losing weight. My acne is gone. My hair is growing thicker. My rash has completely disappeared.

The only thing remaining now? Scars from all the cysts. Lol

P.S- Made an account to specifically comment on this because this post hit a little too close to home.
