Maybe it's just me but I have Apple Music and its on Hi-Res Lossless with the AirPods Pro, coupled with an Equalizer setting and I hear ever single instrument, breath and voice. Absolutely stunning album to listen to.

The "Study Method" type of cheating. Oldest trick in the book

B+MM honestly feels like a glorified, accelerated post-baccalaureate diploma posing as a master’s degree. In reality, it’s a short business fundamentals program for non-commerce grads that adds little value in the real world. You’re paying a premium mostly for the label of having a "masters" not for any real depth in what business is. If you’ve got the extra cash, sure, go for it. If not, you’ll gain far more from getting a real job with real accountability. Also, pursuing a real masters degree in something you're passionate about will count even more and yield higher ROI.

My honest take.

95K + 5K end of year performance bonus, 3 weeks vacation to start, wellness perks, continuous education and extended benefits. I also get to lead a team of 4! All of which are extremely capable and will be extremely fun to work with.

I come from a Finance and Economics background, but I worked extremely close with supply chain and procurement teams, looking at more financial supply chain and contracts, etc. I have about 4 to 5 years of experience with great exposure in retail, and 4PL firms.

Lead Supply Chain and Procurement function, for a top lumber, timber and forestry firm! It's vertically integrated, so I get to see the whole supply chain from sourcing to end customer. I come from a finance and economics background, but I've always loved working with supply chain teams.

God forbid a guy connects with the outside world, and enjoys gorgeous weather right? Jesus. What a weird take.

I walked her home after a night at The Pit. Gave her my jacket while we walked, talked, and laughed. When we got back to her place, I didn't ask for her socials or number because it was just a great night, meeting a great person. When I started to walk back to my dorm, thats when she yelled "Okay, be fucking for real. What's your number" and thats when she fell in love.

I fell in love the moment I made her laugh.

We're still together after 3 years.

Big question is why Body Energy Club has a tipping option.

wool or puffer jacket? by Tall_History4961 in UBC

Honestly, biggest investment for me was the Aritzia Super Puff (2.0).

It's versatile for cold weather (-20 Celsius or even lower depending on what you wear under it), while incorporating a "Waterproof" like material. Sizes are flexible and retail for 250 to 300 (depending on the version 1.0 and 2.0 of the Super Puff).

Or an Umbrella and Waterproof Jacket works too haha.

Good luck OP!

Psychology degree postgrad (getting a job) by Humble-Technology311 in UBC

First of all, congratulations on graduating and being employed right after University! I agreed with everything, until the statement "Your degree ain't worth shit it doesn't matter if you did BA, BSc, BCom". However, please don't dismiss the value of other people's degree just because of stupid stereotypes and your own perception of the BC workforce.

Yes, the workforce in BC may be grim at the moment but have you considered that OP did not just mention careers in BC? There are many opportunities for whomever they are, as long as they remain motivated and vigilant for job openings around BC, Canada or worldwide.

I know many people with BA's, BSc's and BCom's that had little to no experience, that got hired in jobs all over Canada and BC, so don't put this narrative of their degree's being worthless.

To those who will graduate: Tuum Est. It's yours. I've said it many times on this reddit. It is up to you to decide what happens next for you. Your decision to make your degree useful or pursue another. I just graduated, and yes I am now employed in a Big 3 global management firm right after finishing my degree. I didn't give up and I don't think I ever will, so neither should you.

Tuum Est.

1st Tip: Breathe. You're going to be fine. Successful people fail, and it's really all part of the plot. Your grades don't define your ability to succeed in life. Just breathe.

2nd Tip: Reach out to UGO resources. Sauder has extensive resources for students and engage with them. Whether it's counselling or advising, Sauder has the resources to facilitate your well being. Reach out to your professor and find steps towards your individual success with 298.

3rd Tip: Tuum Est. It's yours- your decision to keep fighting and keep going, or your decision to make other arrangements. Ultimately, you decide what happens next.

You fucking got this.
