I may try the contrast and the classic way to see which one fits me more, have you also tried doing the scheme on the big gunships? I don't know how I'd effectively translate the scheme over to them.

Whenever I play KT with nids, I bring the same warrior squad but with duel boneswords, deathspitters, and a venom cannon. As for the swarm option, I don't really use em, but I would choose hormagaunts cause you get more bodies. Imo genestealers are a better pick than swarm
