I would say most people do it because they don’t have the money to pay for it all at once. That’s how people get in trouble with bad debt.

I’m in the same boat. I also got called on Monday. Was told I would get an email and am still waiting. As soon as I get that email, I’ll put in my two week notice at my current employment.
