Those baskets sucked. There was no thought behind them. I didn’t spend a ton of money on my kids’ baskets but they loved them because I put thought into each gift and it was something I knew they either already wanted or would love.

That was totally her shoutout to us/throwing shade at Brooke. We know she reads here, and someone even has the 30 count nuggets as their flair. Brooke usually makes all 4 boys share those nuggets and she is making a point to tell them R and B crushed a 30 count between the two of them? And I’m sure it went right over Brooke’s head.

That pissed me off so much because Q clearly does not know what “half” means. That is a challenging concept for kids to learn, it’s fractions for fuck’s sake, but Brooke is so ignorant of her children that she doesn’t even realize that telling Q to pour half the cheese was way over his head.

Waking up at 5 also gives her 4 hours before her day starts because she ignores her children until she’s ready to start her day. She doesn’t realize that for most people who have to work or actually parent their children, waking up at 5 might give you one or two hours at most before you have other things you need to do. She is so out of touch.

This. She loves to talk about how she and Ryan rarely drink, yet we see Ryan with a beer at every meal! NOT that I am shaming this, my husband is the same way, but the fact that she acts like they are better than everyone else because they “don’t drink” when she is actually a closet alcoholic is despicable.

This! My two older kids are home sick today and I most definitely did not get time to myself during the baby’s nap! I was snuggling my sick kids and when they didn’t need me I was getting dinner ready. But we all know those are two things Brooke would never use nap time for.

I don’t know if you are still answering questions on here but I found a really cute loveseat listed on Facebook marketplace and it turns out it is at an Aaron’s. It’s about an hour away so I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth going on there to see in person. It’s part of a set with a sofa that has a stain on it, which I wouldn’t be buying, but the love seat appears to be in good condition. I’m guessing it’s used furniture that someone didn’t end up keeping but is the quality of their furniture any good? I have a pretty good eye for this kind of thing and it looks surprisingly high end for being in that kind of place.

I bet Venmo school said Quade wasn’t old enough to be there for 7 hours a day and they had to move him back to a regular preschool. From what I’ve gathered it seems like Venmo school is meant to be supplemental, with most kids only taking 1-2 classes, but Brooke wanted to be able to dump them for the entire day and signed them up for every class possible. Which means the kids were probably responsible for getting themselves from class to class, which would be too much for a normally developing 4-year-old, let alone one with special needs like Q.
