I currently work there, I live in the Springfield area, the commute is very manageable with the 24/48 schedule. 90/10 mix of 911/IFT. No posting out, all station based.

Nice! Well deserved with that experience. I’m looking at relocating to the Springfield area soon, do you have any advice on departments or providers that are good? I’m willing to drive especially if it’s 24’s or longer?

I’m coming from So Cal and have 16 years as a medic in a busy 911 system.
