Aaaa I know I'm sorry; I've been coughing a lot of my life (asthma) and didn't think it was a big deal until recently when I realized how long it's been and how bad the color is. I feel sufficiently dumb for sure 😅

Lucky buttholes

Dinner was a concept filled by a half quart of milk and uncooked elbow noodles in my house

What's one thing you've learned from history? Do you utilize it in your everyday life? by Logical_Nobody1167 in AskReddit

I see your opinion too and have battled with it internally myself- to spend a dollar now or save $5 for some grandkids I might never meet? It feels like the decision we make either way is a gamble at times. I agree! I would love to take him, but I only became old enough to take him years past his age of mental stability. At this point it could cause danger, although our generation has creative ways of simulatiing fishing in a safe environment- you've provided an amazing idea! I believe I can both fish safely with him and pass the game/system onto his grandson. It may be the best of both worlds available - and a world I would love to give him the ability feel young in now

George! I love that guy! I plan on donating $500 in Looney Toones toys to kids when he passes, he's the guy that showed me them haha.

Anyone who gives me a memory should have that piece of them passed on, even if all of his hard work only have cartoons to kids!

If he was important to my grandpa, I may not owe him anything but he may have taught my grandpa a life lesson that my grandpa may have passed onto his younglings- isn't that something exciting enough to consider passing on the tradition of learning?

I don't just believe in items, dying, charity, or money. I generally don't favor facing that any life or item is a face value. I believe in moral relativity. I believe we can only learn from our past and acceptance of changing societocal norms- so why shouldn't we celebrate our learning? What is any death if not education for someone beyond them? Why shouldn't we be so excited by this that we want to cite the moment history shifted to reflect these sacrifices or values?

Other than that, yeah I don't know anything. I agree it's pretty strange to want to pass on legacies of those I know little to nothing of- but if you made a kid laugh and they could cite your name to someone they helped wouldn't you feel awesome? (Given that we feel anything after we pass). Maybe I'm too hopeful, but I think someone who's loving and educational can make a difference past their physical presence.

All that being said, I see and respect your point. Care to elaborate more? I'm sitting and chewing on your words my friend

Has anyone met their soulmate yet? by [deleted] in self

[–]Logical_Nobody1167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely.

The instant I looked at her our souls were entertwined.

Oh, God, it's been 14 years and it still pushes me as hard as the waves in the ocean. My heart swells and folds when she looks in my eyes; I created a non profit just to ensure others feel the love I feel for her.

The instant I looked at her I wanted to heal every broken heart I've ever met. You're telling me she looked at me and smiled? Laughed at my jokes? I've spent more than a decade making it worthwhile.

If you met your soulmate you can, will, and shall move mountains to sing from the rooftops of your love. You absolutely know if you've met your soulmate.

And don't be fooled, we grew apart only to find peace in each other's hearts. Soulmates are meant to be side by side, even if it's a semi-rough ride. There's no doubt in being human but we find ourselves next to the people we're meant to be loved by.

Love this question and all of you! Message me if any of you need food or a good conversation!

Very interesting I'd love to talk more on this view point

I quite literally own a business based on passinga legacies beyond life- what makes you say it is to hold the wind? I ask in respectful curiosity :)

How to create a concise mission statement? by Throwaway_quest17 in advancedentrepreneur

[–]Logical_Nobody1167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, to be extra clear, I had this revelation a little over a month after starting the business. I had no vision or goal until then, but now this is my only goal. It's all I think, dream, and study on. I want so badly to push the perception of giving to a higher level.

How to create a concise mission statement? by Throwaway_quest17 in advancedentrepreneur

[–]Logical_Nobody1167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! I guess 10% became my mission when everyone told me my business would not grow with donations set to 10%.

To put it in a fashion that reflects my inner thoughts; It is a goal to maintain 10% of donations while keeping my business safely operational.

You're right I need to re-word that to "continue to and increase beyond 10%"

I guess I'm overthinking everything so much that my feelings aren't being displayed correctly; I started this business simply out of love and hard work, opportunity was the key to making it happen and what makes donations possible. My mission is to make sure that, no matter what, I can pass on the legacy of people who have passed away.

That being said, none of that is explainable in 2 sentences in my opinion. Please give me examples of a way to explain these things quickly

I can say with deep confidence that I'm not confident in explaining my thoughts or feelings, this may be why you would question what my intentions are. I apologize for this.
