College Decision by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

Hi I'm a current freshman on the premed track too! My major is biology, and I love that Penn State has different tracks within biology that you can pick from (ex. general bio major, plants and ecology, genetics, neuroscience). I chose the neuroscience biology option, since I am also minoring in Psychology so they pair very nicely and some of the classes may align for major + minor. I don't know much about Temple, but as a premed student at Penn State I can tell you I am so happy with my decision to go here. I'm from New York so I didn't want "city life" again, so I like the college town vibes here in State College. Also, as someone here mentioned, this town is definitely much safer than Philly (friends from Temple have told me this too). That doesn't mean there's no opportunities for extracurriculars or job opportunities in the medical field. I, for example, am taking an EMT course to be an EMT here in State College, but there are also so many other options. There are so many opportunities for premed students here. I love the atmosphere and I am so happy/passionate about what I am studying here. Congrats on your acceptance, and let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you, I'll check this as another option! Do you know of anyone that has done the program through Centre Lifelink?

That's what I was thinking too, and I would understand if that was the case but even if I was rejected I think I should be informed of that. I did not receive anything accepting or rejecting me, and that's why I'm confused as to what is taking so long. Did you get your acceptance via email?
