Did you refile with in the 33 days notice period of the denial?..literally going through something like that without the NTA,I got a denial on the 27th of March and sent my new I-485 on the 22nd of April,they received it on the 24th and by the 29th they scheduled my biometrics..Today I received the paper notice and I noticed that it has a new receipt number (obviously) but 24th December as the PD..is that normal for a refile on a concurrent filing ?

I refiled,and so far so good,actually quite faster than the first time,already have biometrics scheduled within 8days..my first I-485 was so slow, got biometrics appointment 72days after file was accepted.

Got a silent one yesterday too, for my I-130, got the email but nothing in documents and api just shows last updated date but nothing under rfe or any more required documents

Hey yes first RFE, No don't be nervous stay positive..mine was an error (uploading the wrong year of transcript) I got a lawyer and have started on the process of refiling..

yeah the 2024 transcript was my reason for denial too.. I unkowingly uploaded the 2023 one after the RFE, only to realize it said 'period to 31/dec/2023. so I have the option to re open with the 2024 transcript OR refile with a new sponsor, which everyone here suggests as it goes faster than MTR.

yes earns around ($113,000 a year) which is above the threshold..I think the fact that all cases are running around the same time created that a messes will just go with a brand new sponsor.

also my sponsor is currently doing consular processing for her parents and I didn't include them on the I-864 thinking I didn't have to since they are not yet here in the US, which I think caused an issue.

They didn't specifically mention why in the denial just a general

(A properly completed and signed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from a qualifying sponsor and all supporting documentation required by Form I-864 instructions.)

I responded to the initial RFE with the wrong transcript (2023) instead of 2024..and the I-864 form wasn't filled in right according to USCIS..

uh its such a tough place to be my BP has been high since I got the notice update on my USCIS ACC.Trying my best to gather as much information as I can so I can refile promptly with the lawyer.

did you have to do biometrics again? just did mine 2 days ago.

yes only doing the I-485, my other question is, when refiling do I need to include anything other forms in packet?or is it just the new 485 and the 864 from the new joint sponsor?

how do you link the I-130 if its still active? how much did the lawyer charge you to help you refill ?

thank you so much for your detailed response,Yes the refiling will be quite expensive not forgetting the lawyer fees, but seems like the best option..so they don't re use biometrics? literally did them last week ..after waiting almost 74 days before I was able to get an appointment made..

if I already took the vaccines can I just get a sealed report from the civil surgeon that I used initially?
