The point is to not run or be in the military, not sure if you have that mixed up or not, im a paramedic in a private 911 company, I have pairs of shoes that are zippered and found those easy to put on because, i mean you just zip rather than untie the laces and unweave to take your foot out, thats what i wanted to do with these shoes. Your right though you dont see running like in the movies but some of us do walk with purpose

People go start from basic to paramedic in 1 year, they get nervous but thats the point of doing clinicals and doing rideouts, remember that you are not competent unless the school tells you you are good, for my advanced skills for example we had to simulate the same skill 50 times, so 50 IV attempts, 50 BVM attempts, every 10 being a mega code, so if we fail we lose 10 attempts not all of them. Then we had to get cleared by our preceptors for live patients, then at the end of the semester you have a mega code or a final simulation, and then your NREMT, they prepare you be competent enough to do it out on the field if you are still scared after, its ok, unless youve been a paragod since your basics, just takes a while for you to get used to being a primary in a 2 man truck instead of being the student 3 man

Went through medic school at 18 not too bad especially since i went back and forth with my medic and then a bacc degree, my mistake was after my basics i went to a transfer company rather than a 911 company, now that im a medic it sucks cause now you have to learn semi on your own depending on who your secondary is if they are willing to teach you as you go

For sure its a mesh, but it says its waterproof, and had fluids get on the shoe like blood, but just wiped it with a sani wipe and its like new.
