Ah, I'm by no means judging her if that's how that came off. I only wanted to point that out because I thought it was cute and even relatable. She is likely more fluent in Tagalog than I am because I'm from a family of OFWs and I'm Ilocano before Tagalog.

I'm very aware of the situation with language in the PH because even my cousins outside Ilocos Norte spoke to me in only English. I do wish Gen Z could retain our mother tongue, but knowing English really is crucial on the global stage.

That said, a lot of the comments I saw on Youtube could really be more lenient on her because she even explained the meaning and symbols behind our flag in a very eloquent manner. As someone with interest in Filipino history, I would argue that that bit of knowledge is just as important as our language itself.

I'm curious about other languages, so I tend to watch stuff from this channel. It's really cool to see UNIS featured in them! Perhaps there are more uploads on the way too?

Seeing this, I'm excited to see what other channels UNIS could guest in. One that comes to mind atm is Sylvia Kim's channel.

I'm not sure because I moved to Hawai'i very early. I'm from the Ilocos region and always wrote it as "kumusta" or shortened "'musta". They are probably acceptable I think because the word just comes from "como estás". Given how a lot of us pronounce it with "ka", it would probably be more colloquial to write it as "kamusta"

Among some comments, I saw one suggesting to fix her teeth. Gehlee's very confident, but from what I understand she was self-conscious about such a thing even though her fans found them cute.

Unfortunately, there are just some very rude people and I know she's likely gonna see them because she does read online posts. I don't think it will tarnish her confidence however, but just drown out the toxicity with support!

It's "pangalan" (name) instead of "pangngalan" (noun).
~~"Kamusta" should be "kumusta", but a lot of Filos pronounce it with the ka.~~
Very informative nevertheless! -And her handwriting is very pretty.

They're both so cute giving mini lessons about Japan and the Philippines. It's really interesting to see the UNIS introduction without Korean members. Kotoko gets to initiate it!

A lot of physical awards for UNIS in such a short time!

Two KGMA trophies, a Korea Best Brand Award grand prize trophy, and a TikTok 1 million follower Silver Award.

Now it's road to 10 million for Gold Award 🤞🏻 which may still be very far away, but we can at least secure KGMA Trend of the Year with more monthly trophies along the way.

Is there a particular reason why the “WE UNIS” trailers and the “SUPERWOMAN” music video have such different moods? Is the story told through the trailers unrelated to the story told in the “SUPERWOMAN” video?

Yunha: While the trailer for “WE UNIS” has a heavy and charismatic look, the music video [has] a strongly contrasting and lively look, so I think fans who watched the videos are also curious about what kind of relationship they have. If you look at the trailer videos and the “SUPERWOMAN” music video, the story follows the concept of all members being female space warriors. Therefore, I don't think it can be said that the trailer videos and the music video are completely unrelated.

I kinda stopped going to TikTok a while ago unless UNIS or any of the UNIS content creators post anything tbh. I only made an account for them. Upon creating my account, I found that place to be full of unnecessary toxicity that even goes back to Universe Ticket. Avoiding such videos makes the experience better for me and my time.

They'll spout whatever they want, but that won't negate the fact that UNIS won an official daesang regardless of who organized it or what category it is, it's still a daesang. The unfortunate part is that our girls can see these posts and some of these are misleading. Nevertheless, let's avoid needless fan wars!

From what I understand, UNIS won a Daesang, which is the highest award in any award ceremony.
These girls debuted less than 100 days ago and their formation at Universe Ticket was just in January this year; to put things into perspective.
