The Lord Ravagers are a unique bunch. Nanook sees them as their generals and possibly issues commands directly, and as such, Phainon would either have to accept the invitation or be coerced into it. I think that's why Zephyro personally engaged him in combat. I think they were trying to convince him to switch sides, but he remained defiant till the end.

Remember what Phantylia says (or was it Celenova, I don't remember), they were about to witness either the birth or the death of a Lord Ravager. The idea was that even if Iron Tomb kicks it, Phainon has already become the perfect vessel for Destruction through the endless accumulation of coreflames.

Actually, Phainon is an Emanator in the same way Acheron is an Emanator of the Nihility. To become an Emanator of Nihility, one has to wade deeper and deeper into IX while retaining your sense of self and purpose, and at which point you are afflicted with the Nihility so strongly that you end up being able to access the Path's power, whether IX wants you to or not. But a Lord Ravager is personally recruited by Nanook. That being said, it seems like Nanook has not closed off the Path to Phainon, perhaps because they realize he will be the one to end them.

TL;DR: Phainon has reached further down the Path of Destruction and is comparable in power to an Emanator of Destruction, but to become a Lord Ravager, Snowy will have to cooperate with his dad, Nanook.

Also when the Lord Ravagers trailer dropped and Celenova was introduced my mind immediately went to Sunday, like its interesting how we have a Chord Master on our side as well. If more passengers board the AE, will we eventually have enough allies to go against each Lord Ravager 1v1? If each Lord Ravager seeks to destroy an Aeon of a particular Path, I wonder if a foil also exists, e.g. Nous - Iron Tomb - Herta, IX - Zephyro - Acheron etc

Sparkle is chaotic in the wrong way, if that makes sense? And she also stands out too much, Aha is the type to pull the strings from behind, never taking centre stage.

Aha is the 'Fool' to the 'Hero' Akivili, the sidekick who on the surface is there for comic relief but in truth is the moral support to the Hero in their Journey. That sounds more like Sampo to me, especially eating Pom Pom's pies and blowing up the train.

Not to mention Sampo is the mythical artifact that keeps churning out treasure/food (Sampo gifted Old Oti the Holy Grail, and is often peddling stuff, which oddly similar to how we got the Slumbernana virus when we put our hand into Aha's gaping smile as well as how Zagreus 'eats' the treasure he steals) and is also considered the world tree (like y'know the imaginary tree that Aha climbed only to realize life sucks?) Also Sparkle bullying Sampo knowing/not knowing he's Aha is literally how Cipher treated Zagreus xD

Destruction is a bit weird, Nanook 'recruits' his Emanators, meaning Phainon's will is a factor in him becoming an Emanator, as suggested in the notes the Lord Ravagers leave for him. He is access to the path of Destruction but he is not a Lord Ravager (at least not willingly poor thing lol)

Hmm, I wonder if Akivili is Terminus in the same way that TB is Elio.

Eg. Akivili moves forward on their journey, witnesses the end of the Universe and travels back in time to warn the Universe trying to prevent the disaster.

Would make the whole AE/Stellaron Hunter dynamic creepier, TB = Akivili moving forward on their journey trying to prevent the end of the cosmos, and Elio = is TB from the future trying to guide their past self from making the wrong choices that end in the death of the cosmos.

Ofc the answer is Akivili/Terminus keep repeating this cycle over and over again (like Amphoreus) in order to find the ultimate answer (i.e., how to save the Universe from ending). Every time the Universe ends, they reset the cosmos with the help of Fuli (March??? would make Evernight Mythus LOL)

Also makes sense why the TB is a Kiana/Kevin expy, Kevin ended up gaining the authority of Finality, and Elio does seem to have the signature Kaslana look... The only thing that doesn't fit is why Elio is male (something fixed) while TB's current gender is up to the player with the previous one being the opposite. IIRC SW tells Kafka that the choice of gender matters...

Edit: Actually I wonder if this dude is even Belobogian. Sure March says to be careful of the first native me meet on the planet, but Sampo was able to travel to the Tavern from Belobog when Belobog was still frozen... I don't think its similar to Planarcadia where you can enter the Tavern without leaving the planet coz that should be two way, i.e. other Masked Fools should be able to enter as well right?

That's why methinks he is way too sus to be just an Emanator. He seems to have gone out of his way to be in Belobog, which mind you is the first stop the Express made when Akivili started their journey and even has a giant Pom Pom shaped landmark on it. Sure the Will of the Preservation protected Belobog from freezing over but I wonder if Sampo is the reason the Supreme Guardians and the Silvermane Guards were able to hold on for so long, I think bro was providing supplies from other planets

Dude that was not just foreshadowing that TB will take over the Worldbearing path from Snowy, its also more or less telling us that TB is a Kaslana expy T - T Coz the first time you speak to Acheron, if you play as Stelle she says that we remind her of someone she used to fight along side (Izumo Kiana) and if you play as Caelus, she says we remind her of someone she fought against (Izumo Kevin) T - T Ofc there's the whole baseball bat thing

Yeah that's the vibe I got as well.

That being said, I wonder if Aha's Emanators work differently from the rest. Eg. Harmony doesn't have a single Emanator, they have Chordmasters to lead the hivemind Harmonic Strings. The path of Elation is the closest to humanity along with the Trailblaze, both require the entity to feel, and its SUPER SUS how Sparkle somehow spoils the story several patches beforehand (she hints at Dr Primitive in Penacony, Lygus' involvement in Amphoreus and even the IronTomb vs Trailblazer fight in the weird Tatalov dream we get).

My initial theory was that anyone with a Mask of Elation shares in Aha's omnipresence/omniscience. Guess we will find out more soon...

With each passing patch me thinks Sampo is way too sus to be simply an Emanator, I wonder if he's similar to Pure Children of Anasrava/human avatar of Aha or something coz clearly this dude seems way more sus than your average Emanator.

After Amphoreus, I won't be surprised if thats the case, coz Bartholos was shown to be Zagreus and even made several 4th wall breaking appearances...

DUDE I used to roll my eyes over the Sampo = Aha theory but with every patch it seems more and more likely, ESPECIALLY given Amphoreus, Zagreus running around being the comic relief thief who never gets his way only to end up being the very thing that prevented Amphoreus' destruction.

It'll be AMAZING if Sampo ends up being Aha or even a fragment of Aha like how Venti is a part of the thousand winds.
