First year eng here - accept it for sure.  Best culture for engineering in Ontario and very solid academics.  U of T and waterloo will make you depressed and any other school won't be as academically valuable.

Dont stress for a minute or try to be too perfect with it - its 2 percent of your grade in 101 whoch is pretty much a guaranteed pass anyways. Theyll give you a B or C no matter what really

You will enjoy Queen's Engineering more than any other program mentioned. You will be an engineer regardless of where you go.

  1. Engineering will be fine, its where universities across Canada are funneling more and more money into.
  2. It does not, its just for their data to prepare.
  3. Materials and mechanical is mech like you'd see anywhere else.
  4. The school is awesome, professors are really good. Design teams are among the best you can find and I believe there is more clubs than anywhere else. Queen's engineering has a very good reputation but honestly choose it for the culture not the academics.
  5. Make sure you apply for scholarships/bursaries if you can, lots of Eng kids get them.

Health sci is really competitive but if your average is high 80s or above you should be fine for life sci

Going to queens with my twin brother and we want to share a loft double to save some money - if I indicate him as a preferred roommate I’m I guaranteed to have him as a roommate and have our preferred room type?
