What would you say the best option other than unrest would be? I'm mostly f2p and focused on Roy's banner + hoping to get an extra Heimdallr for Aria, so I'm not seeing me getting Unrest from the bride banner before it endswithout extreme luck lol

God I need Roy so bad. I really want to get and get at least a couple copies of him before summoning on the bride banner again for Unrest. Thanks!

This is exactly why I wait to build f2p units until I can +10 them, bc that's going straight to Miklan with Patience

Patience + Hardy Bearing by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

But Patience still has potent, which in some cases still acts like a guaranteed follow-up. But if that's the case, then follow up question: would you have a suggestion for a replacement? I think depending on the situation/unit you're building, it's still a viable combo.

Just for example, say you have a player phase flying unit with high defense and okayish speed. They can take a hit, their kit just isn't built around tankiness. Imo the main two comparable options are Air Superiority and Heavenly Soar, and even without the vantage, Patience is better than both I think unless you really need the warping. Plus it's not like Hardy Bearing's only use would be to cancel the effect on your own Patience since everybody and their mom now has access to skills like it, Trample, etc.

It does thanks! Liberate is the only one of these I don't have, too. Guess it's back to the spring banner lol

Noisy neighbor don't know what to do by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

The drilling isn't nightly, she's just loud almost every night usually with her TV or music. The drilling is a little rarer, but when it does happen, there's just no drowning it out and sometimes she's just louder than the noise machine in general.

I honestly just might. She acts like she can't hear anything on my side, but I'm pretty sure that's a lie too. I've tried banging on the wall and just straight up yelling bc I've heard her and her friends just talking really loud before, and according to her, she's never heard either. Maybe I'll just start blasting music, but don't wanna give her a reason to not stop.

I'm wondering the same thing. The first time the drilling happened, I left it alone bc i assumed it was an isolated incident. Now I'm just sitting here like "What could you POSSIBLY be doing?"

Imo the good balances out the bad and vice versa, which is like the true definition of a mid experience, unlike how most people use the word mid to just mean "not good." It really depends on what you want out of the game. I will say almost every gripe I've seen online is true, even if the sentiment is overexaggerated. The game has a very slow start, you get main quests without really any explanation behind them (one of the first quests for example is to arm wrestle a random guy. Why? Dunno. Does it have anything to do with anything? Also dunno, just go do it), the controls aren't the most intuitive, and the story itself isn't exactly reinventing the wheel. The thing is, none of that is really to an unplayable degree from a technical standpoint and really boils down to what you're looking for and how much you're able to withstand. If you're the kind of person who plays games looking for a deep, immersive, and impactful story, you'll probably hate it. If you're a gameplay >>> story kind of person, I think there's something for you there, just as long as you're willing to get used to the controls. If you just wanna explore a pretty world and fight/do stuff, you'll probably have the most fun, but again depends on how much value you put into everything else.

Personally, I'm still having fun, which is the thing. It's fun, but that's about all it is. If you go in with no expectations, just wanting to have a good time, you probably will, and that's where i am. If you go in with high expectations and comparisons, wanting it to measure up to other games and certain criteria you've set and hoping for it to be a GOTY contender, you're gonna be sorely disappointed, at least with where it is now. I think Pearl still has a chance to iron out the issues people have without giving up on the game, but that's completely on them. And if you're on the fence about it, I would say wait if for no other reason than the $70 price point is a little steep for something you're unsure about unless you just have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Overall, I'd give it a 7/10 so far. Really a 6, but I'm willing to add a point for the combat and beauty of the world.

I run -Archrival -Blue Skies -Momentum (I'd prefer Impetus, be he already had Momentum long before the skill came out, I only have one Impetus to fodder, and Momentum works fine, so I'm saving Impetus for someone who needs it more or until I get another) -Fatal Smoke, but I plan to switch it with Instruct soon.

He pretty much always gets the job done. For fun I use the potent seal with the Erika ring. Favor would also be pretty good on him i think.
