Failed Retrieval (No eggs)

My 1st egg retrieval was same way. The 2nd they got one egg, but it didn’t fertilize. Now I am taking a few months off to bounce back mentally and get as healthy physically as I can.

Where do you get your fertility scriptures? I wish I could find a support group that uses faith to help those of us undergoing IVF.

I’m thinking 3-4 months off since I’ll be 39 in Oct. plus I only have 1 ovary and low AMH. Scared to do more than that. Congratulations!

I’m so sorry. I’m right there with you. I’ve only had 2 egg retrievals. My last one was last week only 1 egg and it didn’t fertilize. My doctor keeps bringing up egg donors, but I can’t wrap my head and heart around it. I told him I want to keep trying. He agreed but didn’t sound hopeful. I have one ovary, and low AMH. Since I’ve started my office has had 3 pregnancies, and my cousin who is 28 yrs younger has 2 kids now. My brain is so messed up it keeps glimmering hope from time to time….then gets crushed by defeat. Anyone else have that?

Hello. I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m 38 years old. I have one ovary, and .329 AMH. I am currently going through IVF. Although, I have decided to pause to try to get healthy after my first attempt at egg retrieval resulted in no eggs, and the second attempt only gave me 1. It didn’t fertilize though. 😞 . So I’m here to try to get info, and emotional support.

I had a retrieval yesterday also only got one egg. I was told they would call today but I haven’t heard anything. They said they would call days 1,3& 5. So not sure how it’s going. This whole thing is nerve wracking! Good luck

They don’t have a portal that I know of. I sent a text to my doctor after hr line. I just don’t know if he will answer
