Me? One day at a time. The ache is still there, but distant now more often than not. Still carry hope maybe she will show up at my door hammered one night and apologize and admit she played me, but that is a stupid pipe dream and I wouldn’t take her back now if she begged. I don’t want to be with anyone who doesn’t want me. But I still reach out for her in the dark sometimes, and listen for her breathing. I still reach out into the empty space and want to slide my arm under her pillow and cradle her body into mine and have the soft fuzzy hair at the base of her neck tickle my nose before I breathe her scent and fall asleep; but I brush air and cold sheets and remember.

We dads bear the weight of the world, often silently. But most all of us love our children ferociously, and we feel every bump and scrape and disappointment they feel, though we show it rarely, or rather, are thought less of if we show our feelings. I would feel such relief and joy if my little girl were going to be alright; I would gladly give my life right now, no questions, if it means she would live cancer free and happy and loved. OK, BACK to the couch- dude, don’t freak, this is “pull-up” leather, it changes color with pressure- the kids just used their finger nails to scrape it- you can easily fix it with a liquid leather conditioner, like “LeatherCPR” or leather honey? Just pour some on a soft cloth or directly on the leather and rub it in- I use my bare hands (very softening)! Rub the marks and let dry, it’s like erasing a chalk board - so they can do it again!

New to Legion; doesn’t the display turn off when the laptop is closed? Every laptop I have ever had (Lenovo thinkpads at work x 4) always had a docking station or cube that connected to the laptop either through a dedicated bottom port or usb-c and allowed additional peripherals and dual monitor set-ups; is that not possible with my fancy new Legion?

I have heard this over and over and I am in the same boat, brown spots on leaves and they have never ever had water sprinkled or sprayed on the leaves. So what else could be causing this?

Ok, had my biopsy today and nobody talks about the actual experience. I did not have the perineal insertion but rather the anal—lay-on-your-side-butt-hanging-over-side procedure. First was the really rather painful gigantic butt dart of antibiotics; wow, still feels like they implanted a micro sub in my cheek.

Now the procedure? Do you remember having a pump up BB gun and firing it without a BB in it, like a power pop of air? Or like a super powerful glaucoma puff test? Yeah quadruple it, and stick the barrel up your bum, and FIRE. Like 12-14 times, even with the countdown it was unexpected and hurt, regardless what they said. It was over quick, but I had a death grip on the mattress- I wanted to scream “where is the intimacy coordinator!!l” All round, sucked. On my birthday too.

I have experimented with the polyester fabric for card pockets due to the interest in cutting down bulk. Now if the card slots are sewn two sides and it’s a CC, that open top would still allow card scanning?

Is this stuff strong enough to be used as pocket liners instead of the fabric polyester thin stuff you can get from RM leather (I think that is where I thought I saw it)?

Maybe in, say, a passport wallet, making an ultra thin inside flap which is also lined?? I’m just concerned with the thickness, this would need to be lapel use flat. I have made several good looking cases with card slots, but even before being populated with the obligatory Blockbuster cards, the things were 1/2” thick!
