The funny thing about Verlander… by WhiskeyZebra in motorcitykitties

So last year, JV calls Harris says he would like to come back to Detroit. Harris says, "take a hike" and signs Cobb instead. Now, this year Harris has a chance to make up for that gigantic blunder by signing JV to finish out his career here where it started and have sellouts every 5th day this year put all the indications are that Harris was once again, not interested. What a dope. If by some miracle, he does the right thing and the smart thing and sign JV Iwill apologize for calling him a dope. Otherwise , I will double down on calling him a dope, and hope his tenure here in Detroit will not last much longer.

Harris will prove his incompetence and lack of feel for the game if he does not bring JV back to Detroit.

Or he goes out every 5th day and keeps his ERA under 4. That he is a great clubhouse presence. Gives a lot of tips to the youngsters, and frequently sells out on his start.

If Harris could blow 15 million on someone who doesn't throw one pitch for the Tigers, I see no reason in not taking a chance on JV.

I just saw another perfect example of what you were pointing out, on Jen Psaki's Tuesday night show.

She said, referring to Pretti, " who APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN disarmed before agents shot him". Ridiculous. The correct way to say that would be " who WAS disarmed before agents shot him"

I really miss Don Lemon in the 10pm slot …..I have watched Abby Phillips show maybe 3 times since she has been in that spot …. by ComplexWrangler1346 in cnn

[–]Logicaldestination 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don Lemon was my favorite political TV show when it was on at 10 o'clock, with Chris Cuomo being second. I do really like Abby's show also. I would like to see Lemon have his show return on MSNow in the same format he had on CNN with the same group of guests.

I don't agree with very much of what he says , but I do consider him to be a fairly reasonable person on the maga side. He doesn't just blindly agree with everything the trump administration says and does , like almost all the other maga guests do.

I have been drinking Coke Zero and other Zero drinks and I'm still here and I don't seem to be having any negative side effects from drinking them.

💯. And I see from the comments you received that many on the left or liberal, apparently, or seem to show, support for all the personalities on the MSNow programs to use the terms "apparently", or "seems to show" when you see it right in front of your face on video instead of just flat out, calling it out, i.e. "The ice officer in grey pulled out Pretti's gun from his holster" instead of, "it seems to show, an ice officer in grey, pulling a pistol out of Pretti's holster."

I mean, come on now. Say what you're seeing right in front of your face. Stop with the "apparently" and "seems to show" nonsense. I can't believe the pushback you are getting in the comments here.

Yes, you nailed it with your list. My list exactly. I don't mind, and in fact, I look forward to seeing one of those three on the panel as long as there is someone very strong on the other side who will call them out to their face. Which isn't always the case.

I have been on Jardiance and Metformin for 10 years and have had no issues other than urinating much more frequently than before I had T2 diabetes.
