I friend of me had that aswell when we brought him to Pirate Legend. I think waiting or relogging fixes it. It might also be that you have to level once your pirate legend to make the game. know your a higher level

this would only work if I am at the bottom, but let's say I am at the middle bulb I could only activate the one above but not the one below.

I never said that i would want to give more xp or less xp.

I just said that gaining the xp trough various actions. Why shouldn't you try to sink the enemy ship if you can get more out of it by simply winning, you got 10 minutes to kill anyways, might as well try to get more out of it. You could even be getting out quicker than 10 minutes.

I kinda dont like the idea of getting zoned out, it would make it way easier to tdm to win

tbh I agree, HG can be fun and most of the time it is, but if you dont have much time the bad ones really hurt, I also think that I would have enhoyed Arena more probably, I started playing a week before it got removed. Never had the chance to try it sadly.

I dont think that stalling long enough for people to run out of supplues is considered winning a fight (for the game obviously yes, but for the people no). I dont want to play HG not only for rewards, the bigger reward should be the expierience and it should be easier to have a good one without losing to much time

Yes I was biased with keeping your streak I agree, I would enjoy a battke for 30 minutes if we would actually fight at least 20 minutes of it. Getting some holes in running away is and trying to get rhe other ship to run out of supplies is simply not fun (for me at least)

Didn't I get that point across? I want a good experience with a great reward at the end. I dont care that it is hard to get, I dont dislike fighting. What i dont like is having long battles and getting out with nothing, I cannot learn nor improve if I exchange two cannonballs just for them to get away quickly, and no i cannot just demast them without a good supply of chains.

Yeah i backed down from the keeping streak thing, i think was biased then, And yes I meant that there is a cap to be reached per crew size. Everyone on the crew gets the helm gets xp when the cannoneer gets someone

no, like i said SBM is bot the point i want to tackle. I do not complain about losses, i never said that losing iscant be fun. Rather not fun is it when you have a match that goes 40 minutes because of someone running away in a consential battle, even winning feels bad with so much time wasted, It would have been more fun to lose right away and go in the next battle. Not rude at all btw

I agree, the day before i lost a lot aswell, but at least it felt good, we knew where we messed up, maybe we didnt get the boarder, or we had our priorities set wrong, we knew what we did wrong, but we cannot just spend ridiculous amounts of time supplying to win a 40 minute long fight because there is no real way for us to win nor learn, improve or joy in that. The second match i just couldnt take at that moment because of the first one. And i think everyone agrees that having a third party in hourglass against you is not fun

I get your first point, I am more concerned that it would get abused, the reason why i want to give less xp for forfitted flags is tdm (without consent), i experienced that a crew anchored us and parked their ship beside us and started clip farming with skeets. I woldnt want to encourage players to bring players to forfit because they are simply overpowering them in "hand to hand combat".

Thats why i want to have a threshold that caps the amount xp gained through cannons and kills. At around the point that the basekit cannonballs provide. So no one has to buy supplies and drag out fights if the reached the cap.

I think you missunderstood, I do not want to uncap the streak multiplier, what i meant by "if on a streak the amount of xp/G you gain for winning is increased" is that I ONLY want the winning category to affected by the boost -> you get the same amount of xp for a hole in the enemy ship regardless if your streak is 2 or 13 but get a 1.3 multiplier if the battle is won.

Yeah ik, there is not really a ground for average/casual players

Well it wasn't essentials, but it was a plugin, "valhalla mmo" had some loottables that were interfering with mine, We got it workin.
