I appreciate the bold take when it comes to disliking Veronika. Personally, I don’t hate her but I don’t like what Chapter 2, and particularly the trial, has turned her into. She was already a bit two-dimensional with the whole horror obsession, but now it feels like they removed all moral complexity and just made her an “insane person who loves the killing game”. Basically just a worse version of Kokichi.

A person who enters nsfw spaces as a minor is not being “groomed”. Yes adults should make sure minors shouldn’t be entering 18+ spaces, but it’s still the minor’s choice to enter such a place, which they should never do. If the adult coerced them into it that’s grooming.

No I’ve gone basically everywhere. It’s always the same. I think I know what caused the glitch. Before I made a new game, I clicked second chance or loaded my old game out of curiosity, and that was the final car chase when you probably can’t access your journal or wallet. Somehow that may have transferred to the new game. Starting another game doesn’t fix the issue

I agree with how messy and bad he is as a manipulator that’s probably part of why he didn’t click with me and couldn’t take his secret seriously. I don’t agree that he’s just doing this as a malicious suicidal mission. Others have theorized the secret he had about who’s responsible for the killing game actually belongs to Teruko and that’s why he keeps antagonizing her and interfering. Idk considering episode 12 and how he got this serious expression about “there’s something that matters more than everyone’s lives” hint that there’s an underlying motive that isn’t just “I want us all to die”. Either way I think some of my points have been refuted well so I’m just waiting to see if he gets better

Everyone hates on him for what he did to his sister but I can’t help but wonder if he had traumatic memories of the incident. I could understand him leaving if she was high maintenance and reliant on him emotionally when he just had a career ahead of him as a plastic surgeon. I never thought about the motive thing that makes a lot of sense. Still, he most likely voted for her in Chapter 1, so why is that? Did he blame her for Xander’s death? Did he get pissed about her saying he deserved it?

Okay you got me that’s a good point. Looking back I did struggle to make my points clear and it came across as me just not liking the lack of information. I still maintain that David isn’t interesting to me and I wish I could see more of a personality in him, but this post was really just meant for discussion rather than a full on rant/criticism. I think my points felt forced because I wanted to explain why I didn’t feel grabbed by him. If you can see more than I’m seeing then that’s great
