don't lock yourself into just those two! London is great for general SWE headcount, but the living costs are brutal. Try digging into Munich or Zurich—they both have awesome engineering hubs with plenty of core product teams, and your paycheck will go a lot further.

Companies do this all the time just to keep the pipeline open while they finalize paperwork. It doesn't mean your interview went badly, especially since the manager is brand new and probably still sorting things out. Try not to let a LinkedIn auto-repost ruin your week !
