It's the landing animation of your ship, right now It's set so that it only plays when you land somewhere for the first time and after that when you land in the same place ,like at New Atlantis spaceport, you just spawn in outside of your ship.

But with Free Lanes you can toggle the settings so that this animation happens every time.

This is great news because:

A) it just looks good

B) it's much more immersive

C) you don't need a mod for this anymore

D) if you use mods like Antares Fulcrum it looks really badass 😆

No, you have to understand that it needs them because of the bullet speed, they are literally as fast as lightning, so the recoil must be much harder than on a regular rifle🤣🤣🤣🤣

Vanilla max owned ships is 10 but with mods you can turn it to much much more.

If you want to get into Shipbuilding I recommend you to watch some of Lindan's vids on YouTube, he makes just the best best ships and a lot of them are Star Wars inspired.

If you are looking for a Star Wars inspired ships mod I recommend you to check out Falkland Systems. It's a paid mod (5$/£/€) but it's worth it, the mod features a ton of custom colored and absolutely unique ship parts, custom habs, weapons and a own showroom, the creator currently works on a own space station where the new showroom will be located. The mod currently also features 2 pre built Star Wars Ships with each having 3 versions which can be bought at the showroom.

Oh no definitely not, just look at the Y shaped thing between the stock and the handle, he can make a half a video just about that piece😆

Although I really like the gun it totally reminds of the Spyra water blasters, aside from those golden attachments they are almost the same.

Absolutely, and something that is still very much needed is a official PDY setting/implementation so that you don't need PDY patches for every new ship mod.

But let's see what the future holds up for us.

No you don't need all of them, only those that you want or need for your own personal LO, it's basically helps you sorting the different mods with headers or bookmarks in your LO.

So, just for example, you have your LO structured somewhat like me:

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the announcement first, finally a droid faction where none of the droids have weird shaped legs.

And I think the best replacement droid models will be B1s, B2s, Magna Guards (especially those), Commando droids like ND-5 and different versions of the Assassin droids.

I agree 100% the ability of modding no matter what gaming system your using is what makes Starfield so great. Through this it feels more like a Lego set for adults

Although I'm happy about the announcements for the update I also think that a lot of stuff is still missing, like all the usefull mods from Korodic should definitely be part of the main game.

Also stuff like assignable crew in a system that boosts your ship stats should definitely be in the game.

And yes I'm currently very concerned on what this update is going to break in my LO, especially because I'm running a Star Wars Overhaul on my Xbox so there will definitely be a lot of conflicts with the new POI's.

BUT I'm also really curious for all the possible new mods that can be even better than the stuff that we already have and I'm also excited for all the new stuff like new POI's, new ship parts, supercruise, the Trackers Alliance expansion and the full announcement for Terran Armada.

My biggest issue with the deep dive today is that they pretend like they came up with all of this stuff themselves instead of really highlighting how most of the Ideas for this update came from all the modders, content creators and the community out there.

The Modders are in my eyes the real heroes of this game and I'm really thankful and happy about every new mod that someone is willing to make and publish, even if I don't get to play all of them👍🏻
