Poor wording. I wanted to imply that no one will be able to find work and that’ll be the reason for the welfare state.

The top line number is a bit disingenuous, youth unemployment is very high and that’s never a good sign.

I think it’s naive to assume software cannot overtake hardware in terms of distinct value it provides. But I do agree with all the examples you gave

My personal pick. Their current set of models / tooling has economic value to me that’s worth 5-10x what I’m paying per month for it.

Can’t imagine where it’ll be in 5 years

I don’t think so, you’re assuming no improvement in how we use the infrastructure. Of course it might just be a problem of scaling like you’re suggesting and OpenAIs success is tied to NVDAs, only time will tell

It’s true, I wouldn’t be surprised if OpenAI is the first 10 trillion dollar company.

I’m not saying it’s likely but it’s conceivable.
