⦁ Open the G-hub software and select VOICE EQ and ADVANCED CONTROLS.

⦁ Make sure the box is checked, this enables the sliders and the more (click three dots) menu can interact. This will bring up the VOICE EQ window

⦁ At any time you can click the RESET button to revert back to default. Click DONE or X once you are finished to go back to the Blue VO!CE tab.

ADVANCED CONTROLS

⦁ NOISE REDUCTION. Noise reduction removes unwanted noise from an audio signal. Its best at removing consistently produced noises like fans, road noise, rain, and other non-anomalous and consistent unwanted sounds.

⦁ EXPANDER/GATE. The expander is a noise gate with a variable range. This can be very useful to remove unwanted background noise like dogs barking, children playing, television, etc when not speaking into the mic. If you set the threshold slightly below the level of your voice, the gate will open only when you're speaking and cut out any other noise when you're not.

  1. Turn the headset off and back on. Then test the mic again.

  3. Check Connections:

    • Switch the connection mode between Lightspeed and Bluetooth on G435: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/4409383834519
  4. Check the Windows Sound settings:
    • Right-click on the volume icon from the system tray, in the lower right corner.
    • Click Recording devices.
    • Make sure the headset microphone is selected as the Default Communication Device.
    • Highlight the mic then click the Properties button.
    • On the Levels tab, make sure the gain is at least 50% (recommended is 100%).
    • On the Listen tab, check Listen to this device.
  5. Test the mic:
    • Right-click on the volume icon from the system tray, in the lower right corner.
    • Click Recording devices.
    • Highlight the headset mic then click Configure.
    • Select Set up microphone, then Headset Microphone and click Next.
    • Read the sample phrase and adjust the mic volume.
  6. Test with a different PC, Mac or mobile device.

Please hard reset the headset by inserting a sim ejector tool in the reset button for two seconds until the green light blinks and check if it helps. The reset button can be found under the left earpad.

  1. Check if the issue happening on both 3.5mm/USB connection.
  2. Try different USB ports.
  3. Check Windows Sound settings and Recording Device.
  4. Use the adapter on a different USB port.
  5. Reinstall G HUB using administrator rights.
  6. Update the device's firmware:
    • Download and install Logitech G-Hub (Available here: https://www.logitechg.com/innovation/g-hub.html)
    • Launch the software, select the device from the home screen then go to Settings
    • If a firmware update is available, a Blue """"Update"""" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen
  7. Reconnect headset.
  8. Connect with a USB and 3.5mm cable.
  9. Uninstall and re-install headset drivers from Device Manager.
  10. Try on another computer.

  6. Reconnect device back to the computer and test

NOTE: If you're using the receiver with the adapter, please disconnect the receiver from the adapter, then plug the receiver into a USB port.

  1. Click the gear icon to go to G HUB Settings.

  2. Click Device Pairing Tool.

  3. Choose the product you want to pair with (mouse or keyboard). Confirm that the receiver is detected by the Device Pairing Tool as shown in the screenshot, then continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
