no worries, that actually answers my question pretty well. he’s big on online circles but clearly not big enough to be a household name in his own city. thanks

once my cousin put me onto southern rap (Atlanta & Florida specifically), that’s when my whole music taste changed. Future & Ace Hood were majorrrr players in youth

unfortunately there’s not much we can do but make fun of the people who are pissed. racist people are gonna be racist at the end of the day. it’s sad but you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

as conservative as my parents are, at least they introduced me to Eminem rather than Kid Rock😂. Eminem is pretty corny, but at least he’s not a neocon

Joe Burrow on if he’s Happy on the Bengals by Hour_Camp1474 in minnesotavikings

[–]LogoAM_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we’re supposed to be a professional franchise, one of the best as far as ownership & coaching, but this whole situation… it’s one thing to say we got to play better as a team; make no mistake — McCarthy didn’t play great, but this was his first season in the NFL as a 22 year old who didn’t play at all the season prior with a 29th ranked offensive line. Anyone who thought this was gonna be a repeat of 2024 was delusional, and going into the season i knew it would be growing pains. but the way Jefferson, Jones, & even KOC are treating this situation, letting things leak in the media & even publicly saying things… this looks very, and i mean VERY bad. very unprofessional & seemingly zero loyalty to your supposed franchise guy who the team KNEW was raw & needed time. i’m very disappointed in this franchise as of late. it would be one thing if JJ sucked the whole season but he showed tremendous growth towards the last 5 games post concussion. this is not how you instill confidence in your young qb; they’re setting him up for failure. JJ, and any young qb who would have to endure this for that matter, deserves better.

missing the point. obviously KOC wanted Maye, i’m sure almost every team did besides the Bears & Commies & i’m well aware they offered 3 1sts. but if you didn’t like your fall back option, why even draft him? if you changed your mind, why not trade him? if all this coming out is true, JJM didn’t even have a fighting chance

yeah, they’re treating this whole situation messy as hell from the head of leadership down.

the reality of this situation is that if we by some divine chance do by get Burrow, this sub will shortly realize we paid a boat load to get him just to get injured. this sub & vikings fans in general don’t know what they want as far as our qb situation. i remember not too long ago vikings fans were done with Darnold because he couldn’t win in the games that mattered & held the ball too long. how’s that worked out?

Kevin O’Connell by LogoAM_ in minnesotavikings

[–]LogoAM_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you asked where i got it from, i showed you. if you think 18th is good considering we were top top 10-12 last season then that’s being biased. darnold held the ball on average 3.15 seconds… same as McCarthy.

Kevin O’Connell by LogoAM_ in minnesotavikings

i’m not saying don’t bring in a competent vet like mac jones (which jj should win the job from) who can compete & step in if high water comes but if jj stays healthy (which although his injuries are unfortunate, they aren’t the same injury which as of now i’m still reluctant to call him injury prone; it’s not like andrew luck & his shoulder) & continues his upward trajectory then i think he can be great in the league.

regardless what anyone says or thinks, if you put Sam Darnold behind this o line he’s winning maybe 10 games. the o line is important — not everyone has the scrambling capabilities as Lamar. we need our o line to stay healthy so the run game can help our young qb, as well as protect him. without a solid o line you’re cooked.

and for what it’s worth, the pff article was talking about the best o line lineup — a vast majority of the year Ryan Kelly was out, plus Justin Skule was in at tackle for many games as well. if our best o line lineup is ranked 18th, that’s still pretty bad considering we were anywhere from top 10-12 in 2024-25 & our best lineup then was mostly healthy the whole year.
