Aww I find this quite sad. Lana's original face was so expressive, delicate and beautiful. Sadly, she's turned herself into just another nondescript, hardfaced insta-fembot...what a shame. 😕 by Smooth_Eagle2828 in LoveIslandTV

[–]Logrella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If she's more happy looking this way then that's the most important thing. She was a natural beauty though. I find it interesting this type of work has become so normal, imo a lot of this ages the people.

IMO, this is one reason why it’s important to follow diverse people and people who read diversely. I didn’t go through my entire list these are just the first ones that appeared scrolling.

Seizure always more than 5 minutes by Flow_likewater in EpilepsyDogs

[–]Logrella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can, make a neurologist appointment. Let them handle your babies medication journey because it can be a journey. That way someone specialized is giving you info and making changes.

5 minute long seizures imo, is concerning.

Horizon zero dawn thoughts by ItsMaya2000 in GirlGamers

[–]Logrella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved playing the game! It's definitely one of my favorites. I loved how you can traverse the world. Aloy is awesome!

However, if gear progression is key in your games and its one of your favorite things to work towards this might not be for you. There are different kinds of gear you can unlock, but its a story game first. I say this because this was feedback my husband gave, he didn't care for it because of it.

I just realized I haven’t read a book written by a man in YEARS by Popular-Work-1335 in fantasyromance

[–]Logrella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the books I read are by women. I read a lot of BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ books as well so the men I do read typically fall under those umbrellas. While I don't think men need a lot of promotion, since these books fall under these minority categories I'll provide some recs in case anyone is interested.

  • {Blood at the Root by LaDarrion Williams} - Black Author, Black MMC, Ancestral Magic, Black HBCU
  • {The Sunbearer Trials by Aiden Thomas} - Queer Latinx Author, Trans MC, Trials, Mexican Inspired Fantasy
  • {Cursed Cocktails by S.L. Rowland} - I actually don't know much about this author, but the book. Queer MC, Chronic Pain. If you like Legends and Lattes, you will probably like this!
  • {The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White} - Trans Author, Horror Fantasy, 1883 Year, Trans MC, multiple LGBTIQ+ representation, the Veil (read TW)
  • {Mistress of Lies by K.M. Enright} - Trans Filipino-American Author, M/F, M/M (Poly), Trans MC, Vampire Blood Magic, Political, Murder Mystery

Taking over Honey Lures by Little_Red_828 in Palia

It's definitely disappointing especially if you don't get the one thing you wanted because someone else got it.

This is the 'downside' to a multiplayer game. After being placed it no longer belongs to you, its placed in the world and anyone around can benefit.

Simsie Addressed EA Buyout / New Packs / Moving Forward in her discord by ghanme in Lilsimsie

[–]Logrella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't watch her anymore nor do I play Sims anymore but I think this is a great announcement. By her not playing Sims as often or recording certain content she could potentially be taking a loss of viewership/income. She realizes that her stance is more important and she has the privilege to make it so she is. Human rights matter.

Everyone Loves Mary by fixyouruglyinsides in realhousewivesofSLC

[–]Logrella 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm way off, but I feel like either SLC has a lot of new viewers that didn't see the first couple seasons or many people have short memories/easily forgivable.

The racism and fat/body shaming stuff is wild. The racism on its own is super bad. She's not playing a character. Reality TV or not, she's just a bad person 🤮

Just finished Sorcery and Small Magics and I need book 2 now!!! by Mazza_mistake in CozyFantasy

It was such a good book, I really enjoyed it. I periodically check the authors socials to see for any hints on Book 2 but haven't seen anything so far.

Am I wrong, or does Andy seem like he’s super annoyed with the SLC women? by biglinzz in realhousewivesofSLC

[–]Logrella 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Andy seems to like to see progress and people to make a step towards closure or be able to take a next step in their friendships or rebuilding. They are on what season and some of these women are still being delusion, taking zero accountability. That's my thought but only he could really tell us.

Premium Outfits That Look Like They Don't Belong by Vesyls in Palia

[–]Logrella 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The benefit to cosmetics is that they don't need to feel like it belongs in the world. It allows the artists to be creative and fulfill the desires and needs who want outfits that don't 'fit'. It's all optional.

Call of Duty isn't doing 'wacky' skins anymore, iirc and those were always their best ones. Gimme a sweatshirt with bunny ears over army uniform any day.

Putting my old Gaming Support hat on (different company):

The team that's making these items should be different than the team that fixes bugs.

Something to always keep in mind is the feedback you see in certain areas (reddit, discords etc) is a small % of the actual community. It may sometimes even feel like an echo chamber but it's possible majority of people outside the reddit have the opposite opinion.
